We seem to much more ready to go on this trip. We packed earlier in the week and are pretty much waiting for Saturday morning to come. Tick Tock Tick Tock

Our FE box arrived yesterday at the cruise warehouse, all 20 pounds of it.

Two more days of work and then off for two weeks.

You guys are welcome! I think those wonderful green lanyards will really help out with meeting up. I know on our last cruise that is how we would run into people to meet up with almost every day...seeing the lanyards make you know that it is another DIS friend!

I foolishly did not order a lanyard. I have so many lanyards from past cruises and wasnt smart enough to realize this is how we would identify each other. Does anyone know if there are any extra lanyards that I could purchase?

Did you have the link that lets you print 5 deck plans per page on pdf? I am having trouble printing them. I had printed them once a few days ago, but now when I click to bring up the pdf to print it doesnt come up.

On a side note, this site also has a very cool area that lets you drag the decks on top of each other. You can see through to see what is on top of/underneath each other.


Edit: Looks like it works with IE, but not with Firefox.

I was able to pull them up but could not get them to print right as the whole deck would not fit onto 1 page. I guess it is a LARGE ship!

Evening Everyone!

Well, DD has finished her dance audition tonight and feels good about how she did so that is the best we can hope for. Now we just have to wait until after the cruise to figure out if she made the competition line or not.

Feeling super frustrated tonight though because our STUPID VAN (I need a little dude hitting a van to put in here). It is NOT starting again - I do not need a repair bill right before vacation. The thing is, it is doing the same exact thing it did when the fuel pump went out about a month ago. We had that repaired and we will be calling them back tomorrow. Still, we are going to have to have it towed to the shop again tomorrow to have them look at it. I do not have the time for this right now and I really do not want to pay for this right now.

I now need to focus on happy Disney thoughts because that will put me in a better place!

What horrible timing for the van. I hope it's not a major problem and can be easily repaired. Times like that I wish I had a mechanic in the family.

Sons killed me today. Trying to pack them & son 2 didn't have long pants. Off to the mall. Back to packing & same son says he doesn't have polo shirts. BACK to the mall (this after son 1 says he had no bathing suits yesterday).

Thanks for the reminder about our sons. I forgot that DS11 needs new shoes. I guess I will assign that to DH for tomorrow since he took of work too.

Now, I wish I would've ordered a lanyard. At least, I'll know to spot all of you who have them.

great day today, between my cut/color, pedicure, picking up the rental car and getting alot of packing done! set to leave tomorrow night around 6 or 7pm..

We weren't around to get the lanyards, but it sounds like I should keep my eye out for them! (they're green??)

I was excited that we were getting silver CC lanyards for the first time so figured I wouldn't want another one as well.

We accomplished our goal of the last week and a half which was to not go out to eat for any meals until vacation started. I think that is a first for us!


Vacation starts at 4:45 this afternoon when I sign off my work computer and then we are going to the American Idol concert in Baltimore. The boys are excited but vacation is casting a big shadow on the concert.

I feel your pain! That is about where we are... except we fortunately aren't leaving until Friday!

Sadly, our second car is still sitting in the garage waiting to be jumped--hopefully all it needs is a charge and not a repair. That will be a post-cruise project.

I would love loved to have just left ours but we return late at night on the 25th and I have to work on the 26th so it must be repaired! Good luck with yours!

We are waiting as well! I feel like I am constantly looking at the clock waiting for each minute to pass. I still have tons of little things to do but if I knew I were leaving today.....I could wrap it all up and be on a plane!

You will have to call me for a last chat today. It will seem so weird and lonely without you to chat with each day. It is hard to believe that in a few days we will be back on vacation together again after 2 years of waiting.

I will be thinking of you tonight when we go to bed....I will know that your whole family will be laying in bed doing the whole "I'm too excited to sleep" routine.

My goal is to finalize the laundry, finish the packing (need to run to Target) and finish putting together my travel binder. Tomorrow DS has a hair appointment (I cut DH's hair this morning), DD and I have appointments for our nails and we will finish any last details.

On Saturday DH and I are planning on running 20 miles in the morning and then we will leave to go to my cousin's wedding.

I am really trying to figure out how to make the days go faster!!!!

Thank you Jen..!! She just called and said it went ok...She can't really lift anything more than 20lbs.. for the next three days but other than that she is feeling ok!! She can't swim either for a few days, but my mom doesn't swim anyways so that is not a BIG deal for her!!
