We are bringing our Disney World cups to use for our "Adult Beverages!!"

good idea!!

ok, feeling a little calmer - had breakfast and printed off packing list..kids clothes are ready to be packed - I realy need to pick what clothes I want to wear! (the worst part!!)

Only one of the four of us it packed. Bethany and I laid out all of her clothes, matched outfits and packed all her stuff.

Each outfit is in its very own 1 gallon zip lock bag...including underwear! There are a few items in the wash still but I put post it notes in the bags they go in to make sure I don't forget!

I also made a master list of all I packed for her and will do so with the rest of us. It will make it easier when I'm trying to figure out which outfits go in what suitcases for specific locations (pre cruise/cruise/WDW/post WDW).

Trying to keep my brain on work but it is soooo difficult!

Just got back from the post office. The FE box is on it's way, should arrive at the warehouse on Wednesday. One more thing to check off the "list".

Hi all!! I was able to see the Dream in port this morning on the webcam, but I had to work and forgot to go on and watch it leave Oh well. Only one more day of work left until my vacation starts!! Yeah!!

this is not vacation related news, but it was exciting....For those of you that are not aware of what I do for a living, I am a Labor and Delivery nurse and I was working today and it was a nice quite day (very rare these days), suddenly there is an overhead page and gives the code that we use for an emergency delivery...we all look puzzled because, there is no one on the labor floor about to deliver, then they give the location of the code...main lobby entrance!! A lovely patient didn't make it to the floor, but delivered a very healthy baby boy in the backseat of her sister's car, her sister's brand new car! Two of my fellow nurses had been down at the gift shop for a candy run, we were a little bored and hungry, when this occured and were able to assist the patient with the delivery!! It was so great!! These are the days I LOVE what I do!!

How exciting! I am a former L&D nurse - did it for 15 yrs and stopped 5 yrs ago and severely miss it. Nothing as empowering as birthing a baby. I used to love when docs missed the delivery and I had to do it. I do feel for the sister with the new car though.

Anyone who booked with Carol as their TA did you get her email tonight??

good morning all!! ahhh! getting a bit freaked now - it's that time before when I have so much to do before vacation and start panicking it won't all get done! I'm sure none of you have had that feeling!!

the family is starting to think about doing parasailing on CC one of the days - do you think we can just wait and book it onboard?

also, for those of you bringing alcohol onboard - are you bringing some type of cup, or just using what's in your room?

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one freaking. I had such great plans on getting adhead this past weekend, until DD asked us to take the kids over night. Nothing like a 21 month old and a 5 yr old in addition to our 11 yr old and 15 yr old who have not been getting along lately.

I am going to have to go with making lists and sticking to the lists or I will not get anything done!

I know the feeling. This is where I miss making my lists on paper and the satisfaction of scratching things out. I am trying to keep my lists electronically. Thanks for mentioning Evernote.

I used to pack the boys in zip lock bags too. It made it easy every morning for them to get dressed, along with the matching t-shirts that I made for every day.

I read last night that one person said the wind was awful that the T.V. in their stateroom said the bridge was reporting 45 mph, and when they went to leave CC it was up to 50!!

That doesn't sound too fun!?

Just looked at this morning's map of the tropics and it looks better than yesterday - only 2 tropical waves instead of the 4 that were showing yesterday - and they appear to be pretty weak.

Will be on there the day before you....trying to mentally prepare myself for that trip (I personally don't enjoy it too much!). Just need to find my happy place!

Well, nothing is in a suitcase, but all clothes are selected and ready to go. That is huge step forward for me LOL! I hope to have them all in bags before Friday. I hate stressing over suitcases the night before. Matthew has to work until 10 or 11 the night before we leave too.

Only 4 more days!!! My DD 15 is not so crazy about going to Disney AGAIN - well I am letting her have a bon fire tonight with some friends to hopefully have her relaxed on vacation. You know how it is with teenagers and their friends.

Only 4 more days!!! My DD 15 is not so crazy about going to Disney AGAIN - well I am letting her have a bon fire tonight with some friends to hopefully have her relaxed on vacation. You know how it is with teenagers and their friends.

Trying this weekend to get the last of everything done for our upcoming trip as we leave in 2 days. My sister's family is also cruising with us but don't leave until Sunday. Yesterday I get a call that my niece was doing a back bend and landed funny and fractured her wrist. They put her in a splint last night and she is going to the doctor roday to see if she needs a cast or can use the splint. I feel bad as she and my daughter have been practicing snorkeling in the pool and now we don't know if she will even be able to go in the water or not.

DS says the same thing!!!! We are going for 2 nights (really 1 day. we are driving and might not make it to a park Wed. night when we get there. I might go to one though!!!) Then we are going to Universal and that is new for him and he is excited about that!!!
