I just sent off an e-mail to DCL to see if we could do a private champagne tasting on our sea day. I'll let you know when I hear back.

Terri - That would be great! I know a bunch of people have brunch at Palo that day but if they would do something in the afternoon...it would be a blast! Can't wait to hear the response!

I'm with ya! maybe this will help, here are some pictures of my new addition. (still not done, they haven't put the glass wall on my shower) I'm hopeing it will be done before we leave in a week and a half! I loved the waterfall shower in the spa on the Wonder so much that I had one installed in my new shower.

Beautiful!

Well, I finally got the hard removed on my arm. I do have to wear a soft cast for at least another month though. I can remove it if needed so at least that's a little easier to deal with. I am starting some physical therapy so the pain is back but hope with time it will all get better.

Sounds like your arm is getting better - glad to hear it!

Even though DCL is saying that they are totally going to enforce the new times for port arrival...I doubt they will. I am still feeling quite bitter that my time changed by a WHOLE HOUR! I have e-mailed DCL and spoke with someone and no one will tell me why my time changed by an hour. They did PROMISE me that everyone's time would be changing (which obviously is not happening). They also promised that they will enforce the times but I just do not have faith in them at all right now. :confused3

I am thrilled for our cruise but feel like the whole boarding process might make me a tad bit crabby. ;)

Maybe I should make the champagne tasting for sail away then we can put the embarkation nightmare behind us! :rotfl:

Glad to hear that it's healing well. Hope your PT goes well too, I know that can be a pain (literally).

Sounds like a plan. Of course I'm not sure when we could fit it in between all the other activities! Lunch, cabin tour, lifeboat drill, etc.

I know we can change the cabin tour to a cabin crawl at each cabin we all stop and take a shot of what ever we are drinking! ;)

Where are you planning on eating your first lunch / meal on the dream after embarkation?

DS15 says we're going to eat at Cabanas.

Good luck with P.T. and I hope the pain subsides quickly.

Everything I've read recommends Cabanas over Enchanted Garden. Both are buffets and reports are that the Cabanas buffet is larger and has a better selection than EG.

So...we are going to Cabanas.

I also like the idea of popping the kids in the pool ASAP. We may do that as well! :thumbsup2

From what I've read the children's selection seems limited in EG when compared to Cabanas although thats not a problem for us;)

That's one step closer! I hope the pain doesn't last and your harm responds well to Physical therapy.

I am getting sooo excited!! We are getting closer!!!! Can't wait!!:banana:

What are your plans when you first get on the ship??

I know what you mean - I'm very excited too:cool1:

Hmm after wiping away the tears ( I always cry) I think I'll go to guest services and book either the mixology class or champagne class (not both).

We then might walk to the spa or go for lunch (depending on what time we actually board)

Then its up to currents bar at 2pm for dis meet followed by cabin tour !

Ahhhh its good to dream:cloud9:

Ok so today I feel I got a few more jobs done ready for the cruise

I ordered more dog food - there's no way they can run out with 60 kg coming:lmao:

Ordered more of the dogs vitamin tablets

Ordered extra tags incase they loose them

Hmmm theres a pattern here.

Its so funny its like planning a military operation organising the dogs for the holidays.:rolleyes1

That sounds like a great plan Helen!! I will probably cry at some point too. We plan on going to Palo and getting that all situated, then to Cabanas for lunch, then maybe check out our stateroom, prabably check out more of the ship, maybe ride the Aquaduck.

Can't wait!!!!
