Why do I read these boards????? After reading this I realized I had to get a swim cover up. Another person mentioned Lands End and I found they have some nice cover-ups on sale for $13.50. I also found code SALEAWAY (pin 4523) that will give free shipping with no minimum purchase until 6/30.

Sorry to tempt others to buy, but If I am going to be broke I need to take some people down with me!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! The funny thing is that while at the hospital, I told DH that we were a very accident group. so, even I was thinking about this group. The surgery will tomorrow, so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

We will be thinking of you! When the arm is feeling a bit better be sure to come on and let us know that you are doing better and recovering!

I was already at 11-11:30 for my time, they haven't bumped me any later yet. If that's the case I guess I'm first now LOL!

Erika - My time was bumped later and I am TOTALLY NOT happy about it! I am even more upset knowing that some people's time did not change while others did. I am curious as to how this was all figured out.

I am resisting the packing cube mind suck!

Mostly because I already pack the kids clothes, by outfit (including socks & underwear) in ziploc bags. Makes unpacking and what will I wear today decisions super easy! I also can make sure that dd will be wearing plain white undies under white skorts/shorts/dresses!

I would have to get some of those ginormous ziplocs to do the same w/ our outfits, but still think it would be less $$ than the packing cubes!

I do have a question...

In regards to tips, why are we giving a dollar a day to the head server? I get the regular server and assistant but head??

Trying to figure out tip totals so I can have my TA prepay them before we leave.

My check-in time is still 10:30-11 am too, but I believe the rest of my party which consists of 4 more families are 11 am and one is 12:30 (she just did check in this morning after getting my email about a change in arrival time). I'm thinking that our family has to forge on without them if I want to get us Palo ressies (2 out of 3 of us have ressies but we all want to sit together and add 3rd family).

We have to ponder this for a full month before the change goes into effect and we get feedback on how Disney is enforcing it. They really should have started with cruises that have not met the 105 day mark when people have already begun checking in.

Yes - I am here in Orlando, along with the heat, humidity, and heavy rain (just tonight).

It's a conference for Tim, so I am basically relegated to sitting around (which I really shouldn't complain about, eh?!).

Made it over to DTD this afternoon so I could pick up some gifts for the folks back home. Also, went over to OKW to see if they had any good DVC merchandise (they didn't) and had lunch there.

SOOO GREEN WITH ENVY !!!
I'm just now back from 12 hours of boring meetings at my school ...

ENJOY EVERY MINUTE !!! What a nice thought to bring gifts for the folks back home !!!!

Figured out my cruise strategy, so I figured I'd share it with you all....


I have been fortunate enough to have been on countless countless Disney Cruises and other cruises before, so I have been to Castaway Cay and Nassau plenty of times. I've been there enough times to the point where I'm not necessarily dying to get off the ship and tour around and whatnot. So here is my cruise strategy... I told my parents (I am 22 and sailing with my parents) that I am going to stay on the ship as much as possible. I may only get off for a couple of hours in Castaway Cay in order to maximize my time on the ship because it's so big.

I also plan on going to all the shows, as that is just what I like to do, and I have friends who will be doing Entertainment on the ship. I want to have fun, but I want to get to see them as well.

That is my cruise strategy for this vacation. Is that a crazy strategy?

Okay - first I want to say I cannot keep up with everyone!! Okay got that off my chest.

I always vote for delivering whenever you want. I never know when we'll get the chance, and it often depends on when my kids nap, or when I can get them to help deliver..

Jen - We will probably to casual Pirate, Bringing some nice dresses for semi-formal night and oh forgot the other question.

I also am a pack ahead and Jessie is concerned we have not started packing yet - Created another one!!

Does anyone know where to get inexpensive magnetic printer paper??

I'm going to just get strips of magnets and stick them to laminated paper for our door.

If you want the sheets of printer paper I've heard some people have success ordering it from Amazon.

I checked our port arrival time this afternoon.

Options started at 11am (11-11:30 was greyed out) and we have 11:30am.

I'll just move my port arrival time up to 10:45!
