Almost time to celebrate summer for you!

I don't remember when the cruise documents were sent out last time we cruised but I remember we had them in plenty of time for us to leave for WDW - we were at WDW 10 days before our cruise last time.



Hey Erika -
Door signs is on my list of things to do but I haven't even started looking yet. Sounds like you are getting on all those pre-cruise plans!

Just so you know...Carol told me that she could take care of getting the request in for us to be at the same dining table once I let her know that concierge was able to link me to Kristin. Hopefully it will all work out!

Kristen I hope that your father's stress test was negative and his chest pain has resolved. Hopefully if all is good, looking on the bright side, the cruise will provide your parents with some rest. Where else can we get waited upon hand and foot. We don't have to cook, clean, make up our beds, make our own entertainment or do any chores. Plus we have the daily fresh sea air to relax in. I wish your family all the best.

Planning is in full swing, We will be leaving for our pre cruise adventure in 7 weeks from today! Wow!

School is finally done for my kids. Yesterday was their last day. I told them that everyone was required to sleep late today and not to get out of bed before noon.....I was soooo looking forward to sleeping late (I have to be up at 4:30am on the days I work) and then the dog wakes me up at 530 this morning! Not very happy with the dog today!

hi everyone,

i came by to say hi many months ago but have been quiet ever since, so maybe i should reintroduce myself. We had a lot stressful situations here and weren't sure if we were going to have to rebook this for next year but in the end we decided we needed - nay, "deserved" - to cruise this year and charged it, lol.

It'll be myself, my dh and my 7.5 yr old son. I saw another cruiser here with an 8 yr old looking for pen pals and my son is definitely interested! I will send a pm.

I had also volunteered for fes and, while trying to catch up, i saw there had been a deadline that has since passed. So i'm not sure if i'm on that list since i never came back to confirm. Also i had been given a password to a website that now doesn't work... I feel so out of the loop, lol.


this will be our 5th cruise and can't wait to see the dream. It's been rainy here for a couple of days so have spent a lot of free time pouring over trs. Can't believe its only a couple months away!

I am a bit late coming to this party but i just found this thread and have been making my way (slowly) through all of the posts. My family and i will also be sailing on the aug. 16 cruise and can't wait!

This will be our very first cruise and i can't thank everyone enough for all of the info here on the boards. My family is my dh, my dd who is 7, and my ds who is 3. Every day my ds asks "do we go on the ship today?" we hail from eastern ontario, canada and will be driving down.

Hard to believe we are almost there - we booked way back in nov. 2009 - and now it's almost here!

Anyways - just thought i would stop by and introduce myself - maybe we will see you in august!

Lisa, I'm so sorry about the death of your student. What a terrible tragedy! I'm a teacher too and I can't even imagine.

Summer is in full swing here, except the weather isn't really coopertating. We spent the first 3 days of summer at WDW for Star Wars Weekend. My 8 year old DS loved it! Now that we are home the kids are super busy with actvities.

We got our room assignment. We booked an 11C GTY and we got an 11C cabin, I'm excited about the virtual porthole. We've never done an inside cabin before.

Can anyone help me out. I would like to get some more information on the fish extenders . I am hoping it is not too late to participate. If there is anyone out there who is willing to include us let me know. My family (DH, DS-14, DD-11 & me) would really appreciate it.

While the larger FE groups have been finalized, you could always start a smaller one, I think there are a handful of people that might be interested. If you need any help, I'd be happy to help!

Kristin, glad to hear your dad will be coming home!!

That is so sad to hear of someone so young dying. A senior in my sons class killed himself 3 days before prom this year. So sad, really rocked the whole school.

Jen, cant wait to sit with you too! Sure we wish we could meet first to make it even more fun, what do you think are the odds of squeezing that in??

I m in full panic mode for ds grad party in two weeks!! Way too much to do, in not enough time, and way too much money to spend!

I am about ready to order 1 part of my FE gift, but then I have to find time to assemble them, ha yeah right! And there is probably clothing that needs to be bought. And my dog chewed the ears off of one of the mickeys on my FE itself, not sure what to do about that!

Can you tell I am frantic? LOL!!

Take a deep breath....relax....think calm thoughts....you can get it all done! I am with you though. There is just so much to get done and I feel like I am overwhelmed with things to do every day!

To top it all off, I went to drive DS to dance tonight and my van would not start. This means that tomorrow I have to have it towed to a repair shop and checked out. We will be hoping that it is something totally simple and does not cost a huge amount of money.

It would be fun to meet before the cruise. I know that we are crazy busy but things just have to settle down (don't they?). What city do you live in again?

On a positive note....DD passed the test to get her permit today! Watch out all you MN people as she will be on the road this weekend!

I ordered the cutest Girl Pirate Costumes for Hanna & Hope from WDW along with the girl Pirate Minnie Ears. Tonight, I ordered Hanna Pirate Minnie Mouse Earings. I took pictures of them in their costumes. Will post them later. They are soo cute!!

Keep watching...I got a "DING" today for Orlando for the entire month of August, of course it wasn't good for the weekend, but air travel on our date went from $200 one way to $159...So don't stop checking.

I agree keep checking I did spend an hour and a half on hold with SW tonight!! But I know have a credit of $894.00 so we are going to plan a trip back down in Feb...Anyone, want to join us??
