Bought a new carry on for DH over the weekend...a 60 can rolling cooler. Comes with a detachable luggage cart and has a dry bag on top of the cooler. Should be good for the stowaways (aka beer). Maybe he'll let me put a few waters in there too

I bought my husband the same carry on bag! He can't wait to use it!

It's really getting closer now. As much as I want to get on this ship I'll be sad when all the planning and dreaming are over.​

She did fairly well - she finished all her races

Tim moved up this year to the oldest age bracket so he's facing some new challenges. He did win his backstroke event though.

Hey Everyone! I finally was able to go through all the postings since Friday, read them slowly and respond a bit.

I tried to put a lot of the information on our web site as well. Here are some of the things I added today:
1. The Navigators for the first 5-night Dream Cruise leaving on Tuesday (Itinerary page)
2. The themes for dress/dinner each night (Itinerary page)
3. Added information about some of the excursions people are booking (Meets, Greets & Planning page)
4. Updated the cabin tour information (Meets, Greets & Planning page)
5. Posted information from Laura's newbie guide (Helpful Information page)

That is it for now but I hope to do some more updates this week! I would love to add more excursion information so feel free to post what you have booked and I will put it on the site.

here things are CRAZY BUSY ...
but I'm happy to report that , so far , 17 out of my 25 students got the highest marks ( 9 or 10 !!); also my kid from Sri Lanka did very well and will probably "score" an 8 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doing good here. Yesterday was the last day of school for my kiddos. My son was kind of melancholy, said he would miss 6th grade!

Starting to do a lot of planning for this trip!

We have three bbqs/parties at our house before then....it is going to be a busy summer!

I was just referencing this part of Caddyshack the other day at a pool party, everyone just kinda looked at me like I had 2 heads. Love that movie and I personally think that part is hysterical. I love the hazmat suits to clean the pool!

We have a rolling cooler like this and LOVE it! I am sad that it will not be coming on the ship with us this time. We are still trying to figure out how to get some beer and a bottle of wine before we get on the ship....just don't think it will be happening this time because of the way our flights are.

Hey Laura - I got you letter but I am having a really busy week as well. I will write you back this weekend.

I am so glad to read that your students are doing so well on their exams. Soon it will all be over and you can relax and dream of our trip!

Sounds like a busy summer for you! My kids have been out for 2 weeks already and a bit of boredom is setting in. It does not help that the weather here this week has been HORRIBLE and they are really stuck inside.

This weekend I am going to start looking at what we need for clothes for our trip and start the packing process!!!

I wish the prices would go down for us but I don't feel all the bad because we got our tickets when the prices were low. I didn't find out about the vouchers because by the time I quit changing our flight dates, we were back to even...no more credit!

Hopefully everyone has a great day. It is very cool and rainy here today so it will be another inside day for my kids. Summer dance has started though so at least they are getting out of the house for that and getting a bunch of exercise. I am at a science training all week long. It is really interesting but I am so ready for a couple of days off.

Rough day here yesterday. My parents are in vacation in Williamsburg, VA. My mom had to take my dad to the ER for chest-pains yesterday and he threw-up too!! He has been admitted to the hospital. My brother is on vacation in Florida right now and I am here in CT. My dad is having a non-stress test today. So hopefully we will know more. We all want him to come home and be here. They have there car down there 10 hours away from home. So I might be having to fly down to get their car. But first and foremost I want my daddy to be ok...So I might not be on here much in the next few days!!
