Good Evening Everyone,

We saw the Judy Moody Not so Bummer Summer Movie today.. VERY CUTE MOVIE!!

Sound like a busy day. Do you have any pictures of the floats??

I don't think we took any actual pictures of the float without any kids on it?! I can't post any pics here with other people's kids so this was the best one I had w/ just our kids!

Usually we see awesome pics of wonderful Disney food here on the DIS, but I had to post a shot of my dinner tonight... good 'ol American, heart-cloggin' BBQ

It wasn't all bad though... there's a bottle of Acqua Panna off to side not viewable in the picture

Allie's having a great time too, although I had to ask her what TTYL means - I felt really old! (By the way, if you are old like me, it means Talk To You Later).

The only problem is my older daughter, Elizabeth, is a bit jealous. If anyone has a 11-12 year old girl that would like to exchange emails, let us know!

It took me a few minutes to figure out what it meant too. I had to ask what H20 is. Apparently it is a TV show. I ask all the time what things stand for now. I guess there are abreviations for most sayings that the kids all seem to know.

Hey Everyone! School is finally out and I am feeling good! I will still be working most of June but it will be much more relaxed and laid back without all the students and teachers around. Plus....all 800 iPads are accounted for and locked up for the summer!

We went to the cabin this weekend and now we are home so I have to catch up with all the posts here. I also worked on the website so if you sent me notes, expect to see things updated.

EVERYONE – Love to read about everyone stimulating the economy by shopping for the cruise! Too funny! I need to start getting things organized so that I can see what I need to buy to do my part to help the economy.

Janeanne – Thanks again for doing the lanyards! Even though we have a bunch of them, I love getting new ones. I always use a cruise lanyard at work to hold my office key and my school ID.

Laura – I LOVE your weekly newbie/reminder guide! Even though I know all of it, I just love reading about all the great plans we have. Now that school is out, I am hoping to get it on our website as well.

I am so glad to hear that you are done with school but think that your state exams sound incredibly difficult! I will be wishing that your days pass quickly. My goal is to send you a nice long letter this week!

Laurie – You are so organized! I love the packing process and haven’t even started. Now that school is out for us, I plan on starting all my little piles this week.

Candy – Glad to see you made it home and everything at home was safe and sound.

EVERYONE – I have been reading some of the postings about the different excursions. I will try to get it posted on the website but if you want to re-post your plans or send me a message, I will be sure to get it there if you want to share. It is always fun to see who has the same excursions or read about what others are doing.

Helen – I was so sorry to read about Dave’s mom. We will be keeping her in our thoughts.

Marco –I hope with 25 versions of your packing list that you get it all packed correctly!

Kristin – Sorry I couldn’t post….HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Terri – Your photo reminds me of my Mud Run! Great job!

Harry – Supper looked great! I might have to do some BBQ here….if it warms up!

Alright - that should kind of catch me up! It is amazing to me how quickly I can get behind if I am off the boards for the weekend.

Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend.
My weekend has been a rollercoaster, and right now I am waiting for our streak of bad luck to end. I thought it would have ended when we got home, but now it has hit my DD, which means money out of our pockets!
I don't know if I mentioned this, but on our way home from AZ we stopped and grabbed something to eat, and we got into a little accident in the parking lot (luckily it wasn't our fault), plus our A/C stopped blowing out of the vent, it only came out at our feet and top of dashboard. So we have to get that fixed!
Now, DD and her new fiance (as of last night) drove to Vegas from AZ yesterday and had a blowout on the freeway. They ended up being towed to a tire place where we (because they didn't have enough money) had to buy 2 new tires. And now she just called me and said her car was just broken into and they smashed in the rear window, but nothing in there to steal. I am now extremely nervous about them driving home tomorrow!

Thank you so much Laura!! I really appreciate it. It is going to be a long night for me. DD and fiance decided to drive home tonight, because they were afraid that someone would try to steal the car. It's a 6 hour drive with hardly anything but desert to drive through. I have been trying to call them for the past 3 hours and I am sick with worry. I have left them both messeges to call or text when they make it home safely, so I will probably be waiting up until then.

I just wanted to post here that if anyone has a cabana rental at Castaway Cay and are thinking about canceling it for any reason....could you please let me know?

I have been watching the DCL site each day and highly doubt that people will cancel but I just wanted to share here that I am looking for one.

My sisters family is also going on the cruise and they have an 11 year old daughter Brianna. I talked to her this morning while waiting to get on the school us and she would be interested in emailing Elizabeth. She said she will try an email tonight after she gets home from school.

Some troubles here too !!
Yesterday we had a very heavy , violent hailstorm for about two hours !!!
It’s the first time in my life that I see : first , high humidity and hot weather ( 80°+ F )
and after a few minutes such a violent storm with temp. about 60° F !!!!

DGH and I were ( LUCKILY !! ) inside the supermarket ; street , roofs , ground in few minutes were covered by this “white stuff” .

I had left all of the windows open – as it was so hot : coming back home we found … hail on the floor , on furniture , everywhere …

Groups from our Civil Protecion Service promptly came out to help people : streets at some point seemed like … a river !!!
These photos have been taken (from my kitchen window ) about 2 hours after the storm …

I know that many of you are accostumed to such storms …
But to us it has been SCARY !!!

Well , we are fine , but many people have had major problems …
A family of three died , and many persons were injured by falling “items” …

As I said , thanks to God , we are fine !!!
I HAD to talk about it , it just seems so unreal ... for us , in June !!
