Happy Friday everyone!!!
Great pictures Marsha!! DH and I have talked about staying there. Looking at those pictures makes me really want to now!

What does everyone have planned for the weekend.
I am going to this big emergency preparedness type activity tomorrow, church Sunday, and girl's camp planning meeting Sunday night.
But, that is pretty much all I have planned.

TGIF to everyone! Today we pick my daughter up from college and she is home for the summer
Tomorrow we will be watching the DVC presentation of Aulani and MAY be going to the Roosevelt field mall to see the Doorway to Dreams as they have a full size unit there.
Sunday (if the world doesn't end Saturday LOL, sorry I just HAD to say it) is a relax day

Mary, I hope your son gets well real soon, have fun at the dance fundraiser.

That is so wonderful having your daughter home from college for the summer. I wish she would talk to my daughter. LOL

I didn't think the Disboards loved me anymore. I haven't been getting emails when anyone posts. I totally forgot this is a new thread & I had to subscribe.

Tomorrow is my college reunion. It will be fun to see the changes in the school, but I think only one person I know is going. Oh well.

Is the Irish Step Dance like the River Dance? I absolutely love that!!!

Thanks Candy! He has Cystic Fibrosis, and May tends to be a bad month for him. He really has no seasonal allergies it just the change of seasons bother him. I was just happy he wasn't sick for his Communion.

And, Yes Irish Step dance is like River Dance. She is not that far, just starting hard shoes. Doing OK in soft. They actually have a camp that she is going to this summer. But it's a great night, like a dance recital that serves alcohol. and having sat thru a few years of recitals without alcohol, I am truly appreciative! and the girls she dances with parents have all become good friends, so it makes for a fun night.

Our favorite resort is AKV and our favorite part of AKV is Kidani. We have stayed at Jambo & Kidani and we just love the vibe and feel of Kidani. We will be staying at AKV - Kidani before the cruise. Yes, the lobby is not as grand as Jambo and it is not as "busy." But, that is what we like. We like the cozy feel of Kidani and we love the pool. It does not have counter service but we really do not care about that since we but groceries and eat in the room. Plus, we like the sayings that are etched into the wall and the decor is amazing. We have not found it to be far from anything because the buses are right there. The hallways are long but we always ask that they note on the reservation to either have us close to the pool since we use the pool quite often and their are elevators that you can take to get close to the pool. And, we never got tired of sitting/standing on the balcony looking at the animals. DS especially loved the okapi.

LOL there are billboards and full page newspaper ads for this...I have my niece's first birthday party on Sunday so I hope I will live to see it.

As you will see, you can customize the shirts - adding text to the front or back. And you can select whatever color/style/sizes you need.
To get adult sizes, you need to select a different style. There's a hyperlink next to option 2 "Choose your style and color" that says "see all." If you click on it, it will bring up all of the styles - mens, womens, etc. The logo will be applied to whatever style you choose.
For the CC5K shirts, I used the Comic Pro font.

I was just looking at Palo reservations, and there are some new times available on all days for 2, 4, and 6 people!
We were able to switch from Day 5 to Day 4 at 6PM--yay!

Also, we would be interested in the stateroom tour, but I am also concerned about how we will squeeze that in plus a meet plus the muster drill and sail-away! (We are in a 5A.)

Marsha, I love your AK photo's! I need to stay in a one bedroom one day! I don't have very many points, so we always maximize our points and stay in a studio. There are only three of us, so it works out fine.

You will like AK, we've stayed in both Jambo and Kidani. We like Jambo house better, but they both are nice. The parking at Kidani is great. We liked being able to park under the building. It's too bad that there is no counter service restaurant there though, but there was a store and you could refill your mugs and buy a few snacks. Jambo does have a lot more action going on.

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday! I will happily be catching up with this thread this weekend. I plan on trying to get some of all the stuff on the website as well. I would like to post about all the different meets so we can figure out if things are going to work out time-wise for people. I will try and get the information from reviewing the posts, but if you are someone who is putting together an event/meet....could you send me the information in a PM or e-mail so I can get everything published for people?

I am so happy it is the weekend. I have so much to do this weekend and so I know we will be busy. I have tons of planning for the trip to FL, lots of things to work on for DH's job hunting (looking for a new teaching job in his current district), lots of work for my job and then there is the house and laundry!

To top it all off, I have to try and keep up with everyone here!

Laura...my goal is to write you a nice long e-mail as well. I am just so excited that we will be seeing you and Marco soon!!!!

Alright, time to get some dinner and then it will be time for a glass of wine and some computer work! Later everyone!

As first time DCL cruisers, I'm concerned about not having enough time to take in the rest of the ship and settle in if we were part of a tour.

If we can work it all out timewise... I would be interested!

I had a bad day today. I hurt my ankle the other day..The dr. called back today the radioligist read the x-ray and they called me back today. They made me come back I have a fracture and they made me get crutches and a brace. UGH!!
