I read the trick to getting more signatures was to include candy for the CMs... I mean characters

Just be really clear on the card you fill out with Guest Services (or the concierge hosts will handle it if you are in that category) that you want as many signatures as possible. I had the vinylmations in a ziploc bag with the multi-colored sharpies and also some hard candy, I think. The vinylmations we brought back last week were covered with signatures!!!

I've always provided the standard bribe, oops, I mean candy and I've always gotten tons of signatures, but I did hear that since the Dream is so large they have started giving out fewer signatures because they have so many to do in such little time. Luckly our cruise is a 5 instead of 3 day, but we are a full cruise so I guess we'll see. If we don't get very many I guess I'll just have to book another cruise to get the rest!

Just call the store I did, I just ordered mine a couple of hours ago.

Were you able to get a white one? I am worried that DS would only want the white one (but then again, he might like any of them because these are pretty cool).

I found the photo and totally love them. I am going to be trying to hunt down one for Ben. He will totally freak out if we can figure it out!!!!

BTW....just booked the hotel...we will be at the Residence Inn with you!!!

Were you able to get a white one? I am worried that DS would only want the white one (but then again, he might like any of them because these are pretty cool).

She said they had 2 white ones left, that was the color I ordered so I would call them first thing in the morning if you want one of the remaining ones. Another cool thing would be to get a black one and use a silver sharpie for the signatures. Our picture frames that we had signed on our New Years cruise were black with sparkles and the characters signed in silver and it turned out cool.

I will call my local store tomorrow to see if they have any if they do I will ask if they can hold me a few in case anyone needs a few more!!

Have you stayed there before? Did you get the package that includes the breakfast buffet? Are you taking the shuttle to port? Do you know how early the shuttle starts? We really don't need the shuttle but for $10 more, we got the breakfast buffet and I figured that was worth it.

Have not stayed there before. My mom booked the room for us since she got two rooms for free with using her Marriott points......

I will be calling in the morning! I think a black one would be cool but would worry that it would blend into his room too much (his shelves with Disney stuff is painted dark slate gray). Still, it might be cool on his one side shelf that is white. Ben's whole room is done in black, gray, white and red (Classic Mickey) and is filled with Disney things. Makes me happy just to walk into it!

If you find an extra white one, let me know! I think I might need to get DS one too!!!! What ite did you get the pillowcases from, I might need one of those too. I got one from ebay last time and it turned out good, so I might get one from her this time too.

I think we get breakfast too!!

I am going to have to look into the breakfast and the shuttle. It was a bit confusing because in some parts it looked like the breakfast and shuttle was for only 2 people and then in other parts it looked like it was for the whole room (meaning all 4 of us).

Sounds like a cool room! I painted my computer room Mickey red, but I need to clean it up and hang up my Disney stuff!

I got the pillowcases from the link that Laura posted a while back!! Anyone, still have it? They are soo nice. I can send you the Mickey that I had put on it he is drawing in the sand and it says Dreaming of Castaway Cay!!

Glad DH said YES to the cabana! It looks so incredible! It is great that you guys were able to get one...one day I will be booking one of these!
