Lets see if I can cover things.

Good luck on the surgery to your wife, and wow, I would not do good with such long work hours!

Cute talent show! I too, am amazed at brave kids. I watch Alexa when she stands on a stage alone singing a solo and it just blows my mind. She sure didn't get that courage from me, I would much rather sit and watch than be front and center.

We are at Universal before. We are at HRH on the 13th and 14th, and then CIS at the port on the 15th. Not so much for convenience, but for price. HRH in August is crazy expensive!

Candy your trip sounds like fun!

Cool! We are in Otsego. Sick of winter yet?

Yes!!!!! We still have 8 foot piles of snow at the end of the driveway! DH is rubbing my nose in it, he gets to go to Austin, TX on a business trip where it is sunny and like 90!

Thanks Laura ... her prognosis is excellent
:thumbsup2

We are staying at the Four Points Cocoa Beach the night before but we have no idea when we are flying in. We have a lot of family and friends in Orlando so it would be nice to at least fly in on Sunday. We would stay in a Sheraton property since we own at Vistana Resort and have plenty of points, that is why we are staying in the Four Pts. Although every review I read on Trip Advisor was very good except for the person complaining housekeeping forgot to put a bathmat in her room and complaints like that you have to take it where it's coming from.

Mother's Day in NYC, will be just like any other busy day. Have fun the weather should be beautiful by then.

LANYARD UPDATE

Good Afternoon all. Here are a few facts about out lanyards.

We are up to a total of 77:cool1: Only need 23 more for the minimum.

I also sent a note to the company and am getting mock ups in yellow and lime green. We will have a vote after I get them for the final decision.

To all of our friends outside the US - I will bring your lanyards to the ship for delivery.

Janeanne...Does that include our 6? I know I posted it here but didn't send you a PM, so just being sure.

We are booked at HRH on the 14th for the same reason! Looks like there will be alot of dis-ers at Universal the weekend before the cruise! And we are booked on points at THV on the 13, and BLT 15-16. Like you, I'm not looking forward to moving each night - but the kids are!

Can I ask why HRH versus the other ones? We went with the Royal Pacific only because it was the cheapest one we could book onsite. Just wondering if we're missing something.

Hi there. Just checking to see if you got our PM last night requesting 9 lanyards (4 + 5)? Let me know if you need any other information.

I can tell you why I picked HRH. I have a 15 yr old music obsessed daughter LOL! And from what I hear, it's closest to the parks. But if you aren't sleeping there, I wouldn't think it would matter much.

The girls were in our schools Talen Show...A friend taped it on her Iphone. Here it is::

I have not uploaded my pictures and video of it yet!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this video !!! Your girls are so "brave" & amazing !!! So cute !!!:love: laura

All this talk about Universal kind of makes me want to check out the new Harry Potter stuff, but I just checked, and one night at Royal Pacific is more than double the price of one night at a value at Disney. We're college students, so I don't think that's going to happen. Disney it is. :thumbsup2

Hoping a nice Disney discount comes out for a few days after the cruise. I'm mad that the 25% off offer just ended a few days ago, and I missed it. :sad2:

Yes the HRH is the closest to the parks, just a short walk down a nice path and you will be right infront of Universal Studios. Your DD will love it there. My DD is turning 16 on Thursday and we are taking her and 3 of her best friends to the HRH for the weekend next week as her party. The pool atmosphere is really cool, they have underwater speakers in the pool...They have nice cabanas's too....Perfect place for a teenager.

Yes, the onsite hotels are not cheap. That's why we've only booked 1 night in the onsite hotel and may not even sleep there. But it's still cheaper if you factor in the value of the express pass for 4 people for 2 days if that was something you would consider buying. (Course it doesn't work on the HP ride.) We based our decision to book there on those numbers, and it came out cheaper.
