The key is the FRESH tomato sauce ("gravy" as DW refers to it).... there is always a pot of the stuff being cooked here!!

WE call it GRAVY at our house, too! Every Sunday morning my mom would get the gravy and meat going. The house (inside and outside) smelled so good!! I still make my own, but not as often as mom did...

How about t-shirts and lanyards, both. Lanyards are pretty inexpensive and can be used throughout the cruise. T-shirts can be worn when you get on so, you can easily recoginize the other Disers. We did both on the last cruise for Halloween, the graphic was available and if you wanted to use it, you were able to print it on trasfer paper.

I'm ok w/ both.

I will miss you all and am still feeling sad about the situation even though I know it was the right decision.

We would LOVE to see you guys. We are planning on staying with Kristin a bit and she has mentioned seeing if we all could get together while we are out there. It would be so much fun!

I need to send Kristin the FE list this weekend as she is going to take it over but I am sure she would love help. I also can send the information about the lanyards to you or anyone who wants that. I know T-Shirts are a great idea but if some people still want the lanyards, they were really easy to order and I thought they were a great price.

Thanks to everyone for the warm wishes. I seriously will still be "lurking" here some because I just have so many friends who we will miss on the trip and I still love dreaming about the trip!

I like the idea of both. What graphic will we use? Is it the one we have selected for door magnets?

I like the lanyards too - but I can't wear them , it's just too hot in the Caribbean sun , my neck would soon become reddish /itching ...
I use to knot my lanyard to my backpack ...

That's why I would like ALSO the idea of tshirts with our logo !
if someone else likes it too !!!

Evening all, I'm a vote for t-shirts too. I find that on a cruise you end up with loads of lanyards anyway - castaway club ones, dvc ones.

I vote for both too! We do usually end up with multiple layards, but that's ok! I rotate them!!!!

I'm in for the shirts as well, although I don't think my hubby would wear one. Here are the kids wearing the shirts we had made for our Halloween cruise on the Wonder.

We had different shirts that we printed up for each day and people were constantly stopping us to ask where we got them. I would just smile and say on the Dis!

As for the FE, I wonder how many we are going to actually have participate now? There are a ton of people on the website, but we don't hear from or see most of them here. We might want to start a new list altogether? So many people have come and gone?

Glad to see you!!! This is good to know, I would just hate for someone to go through all the work of putting together the lists only to find out people have cancelled or changed their mind or anything.
I am pretty sure we are planning on no more than 20 families per group. If we have 40 families, then we will break it into 2 groups, etc.

Hello Everyone! It has been many days since I have posted....for 2 big reasons.

First, our house has been a very sick sort of house but I think we are all finally feeling well. DS missed school all week long and we all still have a horrible cough. Finally feel like we are recovering.

Here is the big one though...we will not be cruising with you all. We have talked about it and talked about it and have finally come to the realization that it is just not going to happen this time around. Jen

What is the deadline for signing up for the FE exchange?

We've been thinking about the FE.... but we're way down on Deck 2. Last year we participated and Deck 2 must have been too far for some families to travel....and that was on the Wonder.

Well that's just silly, that is part of the fun of the FE, seeing the other decks.
