HaPpY NeW YeAr EvErYoNe!

We have finally finished "the holiday season" and I am ready for a nice evening at home with the family. We are watching a movie together and then will go to bed early.

Tomorrow Paul and I are running the Polar Dash - a 10K race. We are a bit concerned about the conditions as it is suppose to be a "high" of 7° tomorrow with a "strong arctic wind"! Today we have had freezing rain and snow....we are hoping they will salt and sand the roads the race is on before we run. I am not sure what I was thinking when I signed up for this race!

Well, since it is New Year's Eve, I am wishing you all this: happiness, good health, extra time with family and friends, magical moments when you need them, love and understanding, and peace in the upcoming year.

We had a great time in Philly tonight. It was nice - very kid friendly and they had a full fireworks display on the river @ 6PM. We're at home now watching movies and waiting for midnight (if we make it!!).

WOW Jen! What were you thinking! Good luck on the race. I couldn't imagine doing a 10K, much less doing it in such wonderful weather!
