I was in the Color Guard in my HS band, and over the course of the years I dated a few different guys from the drum line :blush::blush: and the constant argument was always, 'Who was better, Neil Peart or John Bonham from Led Zeppelin.' Eventually I got tired of hearing the argument so I married a trombone player, although we met WAY after high school was over. :) It worked out better for me anyway as I played the tuba during concert band, so low brass was the way to go. Hahahahahahahaha! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Dh and I met while marching in drum corps (he played tenors, I was in the cymbal line). My sister and best friend were mellophone players, my brother played bass drum, and have many friends in the brass, percussion, and color guard sections.

Interestingly... I dated three tenor players over a seven year period...I guess I had to keep trying until I got it right! :lmao:

(I posted earlier what a huge Rush fan dh is ...he would definitely give props to John Bonham, but would choose Neil hands down!)

I have to wait until the 7 month window to book a spot. Have not decided where we are staying. But, I did book our pre-cruise stay at AKV. :yay:

Cool, we wanted the Treehouse Villas but the kids were unsure about staying there. We went on a tour of them the last time and they are GREAT!! So big. How long are you staying after the cruise??

Love your photos. Your son is soo cute!!

Hi guys

I've been reading the boards today and I noticed a thread all about Remy - the new French inspired adult restauant on the Dream:goodvibes

Its is rumoured (not yet confirmed by DCL) that the cost will be $75 pp

I've also found the menu - see below

Now I would love to go but DH is not a big 'foody' like me - so I think we'll be having a few discussions hmm it is my birthday when we are on board:rolleyes1

Whats your thoughts on cost / menu etc ?

Anyone wanna share?

Someone who is going on the MV in January mentioned that they spoke to Concierge the other day and it will be $75 per person. Im not sure if it includes the wine pairings that are shown on the menu but I hope so. DH and I are going on a 3 night in March and I do plan on booking both Remy and Palo ...figure what the heck.. might as well try it

Three nights post-cruise. Not long enough to really enjoy it there too much though....

Not a huge fan of French cuisine here. It seems really nice (a bit pricey), but the menu is not going to fly here! Nothing really jumps out at me, but that's just my picky tastes!! Recently though I had turbot au beurre noir and found that very good. Thinking I can find some other way to spend $150!

Happy Saturday everyone

Still painting my youngest room - she loves green and found a neat comforter with green blue and hot pink. Imagine the space aliens from Toy story (the claw) and those are the colors, only difference is a bright pink stripe separating the colors :scared1: I about to do coat 4 of the pink. I forgot how long it takes red's to cover. :confused3

We booked at BW before and after right now but want to change at the 7 month mark. We will see if we can. We are also staying at a marriott the night before the cruise. :cheer2:

Enjoy the day!

If it includes the wine pairings, that's fair - otherwise - no way I would spend that much on dinner for two on the ship when we can get excellent food elsewhere for "free"

Hi all.. I figured I would come straight to the experts! I want book our transfers to the port from wdw and then back t mco. Should I book through Disney @ 70 dollars a person or book a towncar service for $220 plus gratuity? What are the pros and cons of each? What are your experiences? What time do the buses puck you up? If we take a service should I be worried about getting to the port early... or beating the Disney buses?
Oh... there are 4 of us... our son will be 2... our daughter 5.
Thanks!

Dh and I talked about it but $75/per person is steep. Since this is our first DCL cruise we decided that we would be fine with all the other dinner offerings (still haven't decided about Palo) and do something else w/ the $150 ...either on the ship, or during our stay at WDW post-cruise!
