i am here too - and have a question - do we 'need' one of those lanyard things, and if so - what all do i need to get and where can i get one? or do you think the ship's shop will have them?

Brenda - they do sell the lanyards onboard. I've also seen posts of Walmart having something similar in the fishing department.

there's a mini meet at dl, the day before. join us if you can! we're meeting at 10...right in the park, where the characters come out, by steam boat willie collage. (unless Janae says otherwise...) it's just her family, and us. i know Nancy & Katie & families will be somewhere at the park...it's hard to take time away, when you've only got a certain amount of time, and you're coming from far...

anyways...hey guys, we're at 52 now! keep going!!

Has anyone been to the long beach aquarium or the marketplace near Long Beach with the gameworks. Thinking about going there on Friday for dinner and to walk around. Any dinner places that are good in Long Beach or San Pedro for Friday night?

we were just there at the aquarium recently! you might want to check when the aquarium closes for the night. there's a bird sanctuary type thiing, where you walk through. you can purchase nectar...and the birds will come flying to you, and drink the nectar right off your hands! very neat! somewhat scary for little ones, cuz lots of them come flying!!

there's that bubba gump shrimp place! we didn't eat at that particular one, but have tried one up at monterey...yummy!!

and there's a ferris wheel. didn't go to the marketplace...i think it's called the pike. i'm sure your kids would love gameworks! try doing a search & it should come up! i'm pretty sure that's the name of the place...the pike.
