Sorry I haven't been on, we were in NYC to see a show. Traffic in NYC is horrible and we need a vacation after suffering through that!
My vote is for Magical Menories Cruise. I know it only has 2 votes, but we like that the best.
We are also using Fl Tours for our transfers for the first time, but lots of good reports on them.
It is getting so close! We are waiting for passports for Chuck and Christina. I ordered the door decorations for Christina since she will be 14 on August 13.

Hi, and WELCOME BACK...You drove in NYC...OMG just driving in New York State on I-95 scares me. I would never drive in the City.

First time I drove to New York I was in my little MGB
Then years later I was in my Corvette and saw all the large battering-rams the taxies had for bumpers and FREAKED OUT. (My car was made of fiberglass) Glad your all home safe.

Hope you enjoyed the play and I know you went shopping...Any great deals or finds to tell us about.

Thanks for Voting last night it helped...Marco/DGH and I really needed to go ahead with a few things.

You are so right! I grew up in NYC, but didn't learn to drive until I went to college. We didn't own a car in NY. Getting through the Lincoln Tunnel took over an hour. About 20 lanes merge into 4 and the buses and taxis do not give an inch. There were many close calls and at times you just have to close your eyes and pray. We were in a Honda van, I can't imagine how you felt in that tiny car.

We had two young teenage girls with us, so they picked the places to shop and needless to say there was nothing for me in stores like "Element". We ate at the famous "Stage Deli" and I was able to enjoy a Dr. Brown's cream soda. They don't sell those here in Maryland, so it was a real treat.

We also arranged for pick-up at 9am from FL Tours so we can arrive at the port early. We used the Disney bus last time, and it was fine, but we would rather get there earlier.

We are experiencing some severe thunderstorms and flooding. Hope all is well with everyone.

The Woodside Deli (in Germantown and Silver Spring) has Dr. Brown's soda.
My DW grew up in NY city and likes the deli very much - you may want to give them a try some time.

The heavy rain this weekend makes me hope we don't have any bad weather for the cruise. Spending almost two hours in the rain this morning for a swim meet our team hosted was not the most fun, although everybody was in good spirits all things considered. I'd hate to do the dolphin encounter or CC in the rain.

I've been trying not to think too much about the cruise and focus on work and swim team. My fear now is that it will be over before I know it. Guess we just need to figure out when to do our next cruise.

hello friends. we will be joining you on the 12th. actually we will already be on board from the previous week. we have changed the date so many times i did not want to say anything till the trip was paid. I will be sailing with my daughters 10, 15 and my ds 23 will be joining us for this week. ds20 was with us the week before. we are from buffalo ny and this will be cruise #5 with disney. can't wait to meet you all.

I'm Baaaaaaaaaack! Again!

Just wanted to let you know I am back from New York City and Niagara Falls. They were awesome! We really had a great time but it sure is hard trying to navigate 6 people around.

Next, I leave again a week from Thursday to go on college visits with Britt. She flew to David's from New York and I will meet up with her there and then David and his mom and Britt and I are doing a week long trip to visit colleges in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I can see I am really going to need this cruise. I am going to be so exhausted by the time it gets here.

Off to catch up. Hope everyone has a great day!

Welcome home again....for a little while...Girl you're busier than a cat trying to cover-up poop on a marble floor. You're going to need a Vacation for after you're vacation.

Glad you had a wonderful trip, it's been years since I have visited Niagara Falls, maybe I'll be able to return in a few years.

We only have the Daytona 400 this week-end then we're good until August. We are planning on coming down to WDW the week-end before the cruise to see Laura and Marco. Hope to be able to say Hi to you over at the Lodge if possible.
