Hello all, my wife Cristy and son Ryder (who will be 6 months old), will be setting sail along with you. This is the 5th Disney cruise for Cristy and I but it will be our 1st wth our baby boy. Can't wait for the fun to begin!!!

Yeah you guys are just right down the road from us. I am a RN in the emergency dept at one of the smaller DUKE hospitals in Person County NC. Please forgive me for this but of course I have to do it... "It's a small world after all" HAHA Sorry couldn't resist!

Haha yeah, felt it had to be done at some point so might as well get it over with early!

We were on the Dream last May and loved it... apparently a little too much which is why we are blessed with the most adorable baby boy ever! A little apprehensive about cruising with an infant (Ryder will be 6 mo old in Aug) but we decided to go for it anyway.

Hello Everyone,

We were originally booked on the Aug 29, 4 night cruise, but we just jumped ship and now we're on this one.

We just couldn't pass up the VGT offer. Great price, Verandah room, and an extra night.

Sailing are me, my husband, and two sons, 12 and 14. The oldest will be turning 14 during the cruise, which makes him very happy because now he can go to Vibe instead of Edge. (that's a big thing in teen-ager world).

I can't wait to see what room we'll get. I guess we'll find out a couple weeks before we sail. Normally we book a specific room and know exactly what to expect, but I'm finding that the anticipation of wondering which room we'll get adds to the excitement of the whole cruise experience.

Anyway, it's nice to meet everyone. Take care.

We are from Northern Va, Woodbridge area. We will be driving down the day before the cruise (hubby wants to leave at 0200 to beat the traffic. I agree)

Prince William County! Ah, yes, my pocket book and I know Potomac Mills Mall well!

At least you don't have to drive through the "mixing bowl", so that should help in terms of traffic, but Richmond can get dicey.

We live in Maryland (Frederick County), right over the border from Loudoun County VA. There is another Northern VA family on here that does not live too far from us actually.

It was very hard to pass up and that is the way we have booked the past two Disney cruises. It has worked in our favor each time! I always drive at night when we go on a Disney cruise or go to Disney World just to avoid the inevitable I95 slow down. This time will be a little different since we will be traveling with a 6 month old... he sleeps all night long though which is added incentive for night driving! My name is Greg, my DW is Cristy, and our DS is Ryder. Glad to see another family from the Commonwealth joining the festivities!

Thanks for the warm welcome, Greg. I agree, night driving is the way to go, especially with a baby. Looking forward to the cruise. We will have to keep each other posted on when the room assignments come in so we can let everyone know when to check.
