So we headed over to indiana jones stunt spectacular we made the next show we had a few minutes to spare!
So they were talking to the audience before the start of the show and they needed volunteers for the show!
Somehow I convinced my DH to volunteer! and he was the first one picked oh my! So I think they picked like 5 ppl out of all the ppl they picked 4 were from Jersey! and 1 was from New York ! They were like whats up with all these Jersey ppl!? LOL!
I guess we know a good deal when we see it! Free Dining!
So the show was really good I haven't done this one in a few years .

So after this it was really hot and Baby DGN spilled something all over her then she had an accident and we had no change of clothes we forgot that bag rushing so we headed back to POP!
Unfortunatley we didn't get to make Lou's last show!

OOPs did I forget to mention that Lou won the earlier show?

So we went back to Pop and had some dinner since we were doing CS for dinner we just ate at POP Foodcourt.

Tonight we were suppose to have a Pool Party at the Boardwalk hosted by Danielle Villainess but unfortunately she had many obstacles this trip one big one was her son came down with a virus which is the reason we did not have the Pool Party at The Boardwealk he actually wound up in the Hospital but thank fully by the end of the trip he was feeling better.

So we stayed back at POP and we did some night swimming and Tammy and family eventually caught back up with us and we all hung out by Pop's Pool and kinda had a pool party there along with Tammy's sister and Tabitha and Chemire.
Unfortunatlely Danica and Lou didn't make it either I believe they wound up going somewhere to Celebrate Lou's american Idol tour!

BTW the last show Lou came in 4th but let me tell you that Boy can sing! He should definitely be proud of himself! The judge that looked like randy actually said to him that he must sing on that boat he works on and I just laughed because he does but he definitely has a talent!

So we spent a few hours sitting by the pool and the kids went swimming and then we called it a night.
I hope I didn't forget anything I don't have that many notes from today! After loosing my notes then finding them they didn't help much anyways!
Oh well!
Next up will be 8/30 we cancel our Tutto Italia ressie and make a lunch ressie for Teppan Edo on 9/1

Fun updates! Congrats to Lou for doing so well in the American Idol Experience. It must be a little nerve-wracking but probably really exciting too.

That's cool your DH got picked for Indiana Jones. Crazy how so many people were from NJ...it must've been Jersey week or something!

What a bummer about Danielle's son ending up in the hospital but I'm glad he was ok.

We haven't done Indiana Jones in years. Well DH might have last year while I was back at the room with DD sick, but we didn't this past trip. I'm not sure if Claire will sit for it. I remember going when Paige was little, and I think she got bored with it. I always thought it was cool!

Sorry everyone had to watch the Phillies Game!!!! Rollins is the man!!!

Ok so now on with August 30th, So today we slept in and as we were eating breakfast we got a phone call from my husband's cousin that lives in Ocala !
It was her and her husbands day off and they wanted to bring the girls to come spend the day with the kids since they had such a blast a few nights before when we met up for about 2hrs.
So we really had no plans for today except we were suppose to have a 6pm dinner at Tutto Italia!
So we decided what the heck we'll spend the day with them the last time we got to see them was like 5 yrs ago ! So we decided that when we goto florida were gonna try to get our schedules worked out so we can get together!
So we spent the day at the pool and they came and went swimming with us .
They arrived around 10am so we literally swam all day. So we cancelled our ressies at Tutto Italia and made a ressie for Teppan Edo for Lunch on September 1st since this was our HDDMR day and we were going to the 9:30pm show this worked out perfectly! besides they didn't have park tickets and decided to hang out and catch up so that's what we did at the pool.

We had Pizza and soda and sundaes for lunch from Everything Pop!
The kids have really never spent anytime together and it's funny because their oldest is actually a few months younger than mine and there youngest is a yr younger than my DS and they all got along so well they really had a great time!
So around 6pm we decided to goto this Wing place in Lake Buena Vista for dinner they had a van so we all piled in! Then I actually got to go grab some soda for a friend who was there at the same time whos DD only drinks pepsi and pop doesnt have that in their soda machines it's coke!

So we had dinner I can't remember the name of the place it's right next to Goodings in that strip of stores. It was good a decently priced.
So after Dinner it was getting late and they had been there practically all day so they decided to drop us off and get going! They had about an hour ride so they said I've never been there but were talking about arranging a visit to there house while we are in Disney in December since we will have our car!

DH heard the prices houses go for there and wants to move there! I told him no way we could do that now DD is 15 and a sophmore in HS and DS is in 5th grade wouldn't be so hard for hime except the seperation from my dad with Train and planes and boat shows and races etc.. I wanted to actually move to Florida 5 yrs ago which wouldve been perfect but DH said no way no how! So we stayed where we are and now the prices here are ridiculous but anyways. So after they left we headed back to the room to get ready to go off to MK as it was EMH Night! They were open til Midnight! So after a few minutes we headed to the bus stop and off to MK we went!
The EMH night was great we got on alot of things and the lines werent real big! They did ask for our Room key to prove we were Disney Resort Guests while entering the rides. We road Splash mountain like 3x the kids love it!
Then we moved on to BTTMR and decided to goto Pirates of the Carribean after that but along the way we stopped and used some snack credits on Rootbeer Floats and Milkshakes! They were yummy! After that we went on the carousel then Peter Pans Flight and it's a Small World. Then we headed to the raceway I think we rode this 4x!
After the raceway we called it quits DH and DGN we tired and cranky! So we headed out of MK down main street and toward the buses! We waited for the POP bus and it was only a lil before midnight so the lines were long! We waited a lil and we eventually returned to POP and DH and DGN went to bed! DD, DS and I went to the Hippity Dippity POOL! I know you think were nuts after swimming all day right? But it's really relaxing! Well we were only in there like 20 mins and the security gaurd came out and said everyone out the pool is closed! We asked why and she stated that someone in one of the rooms called and complained about the noise and they have a zero noise tolerance policy after Midnight so the pool must be closed! There was really no noise everyone was really mad! So the gaurd proceeded to tell us that the bowling pin pool in the 50's and the computer pool in the 90's were indeed open! Crazy huh? Needless to say this would be one of many times these people complained during our trip which really irritated alot of ppl because like I said it's very relaxing to return from the parks and go swimming and it really seemed like the ppl were just being spitful because only one time was their complaint legitimate! The security ppl seen who the noise makers were but even though had to close the pool due to the zero tolerance policy it was crazy!! and really irritating after 3 nights of the same thing with only one night that they had a valid complaint a group of girls were being loud and obnoxious! So we swam down at the bowling pin pool until like 130am and decided to call it a night when we returned to the room DH and DGN were out cold they wouldn't have known if a parade was happening out front!
So that's the end of this day!

Hey and I updated really fast! LOL I guess I'm happy the phillies pulled it off tonight! That was one crazy and scary game!

Thanks, Everyone for sticking with me! My life has been very busy all kinds of things going on here and still trying to somehow plan for my upcoming trip only 33 days away!
So today we stayed at the hotel and went swimming .
When I say we were pretty laid back this trip I sure did mean it didn't I? It was a pretty cloudy day it looked like we may get some rain even though it was warm. So we figured we would get some pool time in since we only had a few days left and may not have nice days.
We once again ate lunch at everything pop it was just easier then going to a park to eat or dtd.
We stayed at the pool until about 1:30pm then we headed back to the room for showers and rest before we headed off to our 5:55pm ressie at The Grand Floridian Cafe. If you have never eaten at the Grand Floridian Cafe I do highly reccomend it! The food was really good . Dh and I both had the steak , Ds also had steak and DD had some kind of Chicken and sausage over liguini! The waitress was great! While we were eating we noticed it started to rain pretty hard so now we had to come up with a game plan for tonight and just what we were going to do! Also tonight was the surprise 15th bday cake for DD! She loves Jack Skellington so that was the theme. So here are some pics of our dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe

I have no clue why I have no food pics except bread and this and the cake I thought I had more maybe I just can't find them!

The Surprise she wanted to kill me all I did was laugh!

She was really surprised she loved it though! Of course she did it was Jack Skellington! We actually had to carefully remove the top of the cake and take it with us! It was all eatable!
She thought she was taking it home! I was like ok how are you getting that past the TSA? She said I figure it out!
So the night before we were leaving DD and DS and DGN all helped eat the top! LOL!
So while having dessert we decided we weren't going to any parks since it was raining DS had been bugging to do Disney Quest! So we all decided thats what we were going to do!
But first we had to head back to POP to put this darn cake top in the room the box almost colapsed while we waited for the bus at the MK bus stop to go back to pop because it was pouring so hard! So we waited what seemed like forever in the pouring rain even though it was only like 20 min! And headed back to POP!

Just an FYI for those of you that may have food allergies or children with food allergies or know someone with food allergies : The table next to us the daughter had food allergies the waitress took her time and explained to her how they would handle things.
Then she brung out the chef and he spoke to her and everything was real personalized for her .
They told her it would take a lil longer to get her bread out as it came froma different area etc... The chef explained how everything was stored seperately etc.. then he asked her some info on her allergies and asked her what types of food she liked and gave her options of what he could do for her! The chef actually personally brung her bread and entree to the table and both were nicely covered so that nothing else could get near it.
I was very impressed even though I fortunately do not have this problem or have children with this problem. So I just wanted to let you all know that they definitely handled this situation great.

So we arrived back at POP. We put the box with the cake top in the room and grbbed our rain coats and headed off to DTD West side to Disney Quest! There are so many types of games in the place it's amazing this actually was the first time we ever went in here! They actually have a food court in here also! We had a really good time here playing games for a few hours ! Baby DGN of course tried of course tried to play things she was no where near big enough to play it was wuite funny when she climbed up on the motorcycle game that swayed from side to side like riding a real motorcycle and she could barely touch the handle bars! But she didn't give up she was determined but unfortunatley she didn't conquer it! so I got on with her to help her ! Here are some pics of some of the things along the way to Disney quest and some of the things we actually did at Disney Quest!

The Princess Diana Display! I thought this was really neat and wanted to go in but no one wanted to go with me and I didn't want to do it myself!
I think it cost like $13 per person not sure on the price but something in that area. The pics are A LIL BLURRY since they are taken through the windows

This ia a candy store I thought the sign was pretty neat!

Now for some of the things we did at Disney Quest I got tired of taking pics! LOL

If you really look in front of DD you can see the top of DGN's head! She begged and begged to go n and she did nothing but cry hysterical the entire time!

So we closed Disney Quest we were up on I want to say the 3rd flr when they announced they were closing and DD had been complaining about her knee and there were lots of steps to walk down so we decided to take the ELEVATOR DOWN! What would we find in side the elevator?????????? HMMMMMMMM maybe a Baby??????????? Well the elevator arrives and the door opens up and I hear DD go what?????????? ???????????????????????ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhMommmmmmmmmm ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I said ummmmmmmmmmm yeah?????????????? She's like there's a baby in here! I was like yeah hahaha funny ok! No sooner said the baby walks out crying!!!!! I wasn't thinking anything except I need to find this babies parents they must be going crazy!!!! I know I'd be hysterical! She couldn't have been no older than 1 or 1 1/2 yrs old!!!! Cute lil Platnium blondie! DD picked her up she went right to her and she stopped crying DD thought she was special at that point ! So I was like umm ok what do we do first try to find these parents or goto a manager???
We decided to go with the going to a manager since this is a crazy world!
The one guy literally said well I'm sure you will find her parents I
was like is this guy kidding???? So I was like this place is huge how the heck am I suppose to find this childs parents?? So another manager comes along and overheard our conversation so I told him the problem and he said ok I'll take her and I will find her parents. I was like sewwhh!!! Well he then had another CM page for a lost child. Then me and DD thought about it we were like we can't leave til we know they found this lil ones parents she was just too cute! So we made DH and DS come along to trek around this huge place to see! Well we finally get up to the foodcourt area and there is the lovely lil platinum blonde baby with her family! She was now seated in the bench beside them but they had 3 other kids that were just running around doing whatever and they weren't paying attn so now we know how the cute lil platinum disappeared! I really couldnt believe it I don't get it! But I guess I don't have to I'm just glad she found her family! I was also glad that she didn't get hurt in that elevator! I guess because she was in it and the door was shut and we hit the button for the floor we were on it automatically took her to us! Crazy Crazy ! So we were glad she was back with her family in a sense ! I say that because they were really not watching those children! So after our exciting night we headed back to POP and it had stopped raining so we went back and hung out at the pool . Of course we once again didn't get to bed until like 2am so this is probably why we had such a laid back vaca all the late late swims in the pool! I can say one thing that I will never request 60's section again at pop because we like those late night swims and I guess ppl want to be there to be close to everything and they did nothing but complain about the noise at the pool once 12midnight hit! and they close the pool in the 60's almost everynight because of this and 98% of the time there was no reason but security said once quite time rules were broken this is what they have to do! That really made me mad now we had to go down to 50's!
Well everyone I think thats it for 8/31 I'll be back with our first day of September and it's probably going to take a bit for this one as we did
Teppan Edo for Lunch and HDDMR for Dinner! And I have ton's of pics etc from Teppan EDO & HDDMR!!!

I seriously want to do Disney Quest after seeing all of this - it looks sooo cool!

I'm glad the baby got reunited with her family, even if they are totally out of it... *sigh*

And that cake looks even more awesome than I remembered!!!!

Wow, I can't believe how some people don't watch their children. That is nuts...I am not saying that something like this couldn't happen to me but I try my VERY best to watch my children like a freaking hawk! You just never know what could happen to them or what kind of crazy person is lurking in the corner just waiting to nab them up. Yes, I think like this all the time, isn't it terrible?!?

Anywho, on a cheerier note, I AM glad that the little girl got reunited with her parents!! Oh and that cake looked absolutely divine! I wish we were celebrating something that would give us an excuse to buy a cake! mmmm
