HI! Everyone I guess I left off on where would we be doing our CS lunch???
Well the plan was to go to Pizzafari and right as Tammy and Sidney suggested that we goto Yak N Yeti CS we were right there at Yak N Yeti and boy did it smell good and we were hungry so we decided that we were going to give Yak N Yeti a try this time! (Sorry Ladies it wasn't Pizzafari after all)

Some visitors we had while dining outside at the counter service seating area.

The food was really good here I would definitely recommend it if you like this type of food.

Well after we got done eating Dh and DD and DS had to ride Kali River Rapids again so they did and Myself and DGN waited for them to get off then we headed on over to Rafiki's Planet watch.
We stayed there a bit and checked things out it is really neat over there if you have never been there check it out sometime.

This is I believe Giraffe the lil things and Elephant the Big one poop! Ewe gross I know it's like clear coated and the guy was like here pick it up! I was like Ummm No thanks! Yuckk!

I only have a few from there it's very interesting and educational for kids . The one time we were in there they were checking a bat out and they had the wings spread open my were they long! It's really a neat experience we usually spend at least an hour over there and they have a small petting zoo also.

After we left Rafiki's we were headed to camp minnie & mickey but we were kinda stopped inour tracks by the parade that was starting so we stayed there and watched the parade and after it was done we were off to Camp Minnie & Mickey !

We spent some time over Camp Minnie & Mickey we met some characters but we were a lil late getting there since we got hung up in the parade so we didn't get to meet as many as we thought we would! We had some time to still kill before our 6pm Safari GG !
Now it was getting late and not many chocies were left for us but we had to make it til 6pm so we headed over to Flights of wonder to see what that was all about! It was really neat but I don't have any pics as this was after the Bat incident! and DD 's camera battery died before this also. It was a really neat show and funny too! After awhile the show was over and we still had about 20 mins to get through so even though we were doing the Safari GG at 6pm we headed on over to the Safari a took a ride!
We got hung up on the Safari in the end near the unloading area I guess because it was the end of the night and they were getting prepared for the GG!
So we got off with minutes to spare so now we had to fly back over to Flights of wonder as that's where we had to Check in to do our GG ! BTW Onetreehilladdict and her family were with us at this point so we all went over together.
So when we checked in at Flights of Wonder we were seated in the Lion group there was three or four groups and all had different animal names! After we were seated they collected one room key from each family so they could charge our TS credits we weren't given these back until we arrived at Tusker House for our Dinner.
After a few minutes we were all handed our Safari GG pins ! Then the owner of the Tusker house a very nice women came on satge to talk to us and tell us about the excursion we were about to endure.
After about I would estimate 15 minutes we were headed off to the Safari with our 2 tour guides.
Basically the safari was the same as it is any other time of the day but we had a driver as usual and our own personal guide that would explain everything and ask us questions it made it a lil fun!
And we also got to go around the safari at a slower pace and ask our own questions also.
This was the first time I ever seen the Hippos above water and walking around!
Unfortuantely I do not have any pics . Tammy if your reading along and have the time and feel like it if you have any pics would you post those? It's up to you.
After the Safari we were off to the Tusker House where we were assigned to tables by the number of ppl in our GG so we all had own tables for our groups! The placed was packed this was definitely a popular GG!
They had Live Music and Dancing for all ! At the end there was a character meet n greet with Rafiki and Pumba!
So Tammy and I took the kids over to get some pics from the PP photographer. Rafiki was really funny! we were standing there taking picks and I hear Tammy start to laugh and say Oh my or something like that! Rafiki was backed up to her and shaking his but! It was hysterical we were laughing so hard!! The kids were laughing you could probably hear us in the next room! The food and desserts were great!
They actually brung dessert to each table we got a Double or triple chocolate cake and then another tray that had some small desserts on it like lil Key Lime Pies, Carrot cakes, macroons, and some other things that I can't remeber right now!
This was a really good time and well worth the 2 TS credits if you are thinking of doing it you have to have a party of at least 8 and you would go through the GG line and they will link your ressies so that you are a Grand Gathering!
We actually closed Animal Kingdom well technically it closed before our GG was over! It was really dark walking out don't get me wrong there was light but it was late so it was darker than normal with all the trees and things!
So we headed off to our Pop Bus which was also shared by I think 2 other resorts since these buses were there solely for the GG ppl to get back to their resorts!
When we returned we were suppose to have a pool party at POP but no one mentioned coming or texted and said they were coming so Tammy had been talking to Aksunshine a few times during the day so we decided to move the pool party over to Carribean Beach for a bit!
We took our drinks and Tammy, Sidney, Dash, Gabby, Bolt, Me and my DD, DS(my Dh and Dgn stayed back one was tired and the other over tired and cranky) all piled in Tammy's truck and headed on over to CBR to meet up with Aksunshine and her family!
They were really nice people, I enjoyed the lil bit of time we spent with them and their DD was just the cutest .
We talked and went swimming for a bit then we headed back to the truck and piled up again and headed back to POP !
It was late and we were all exhausted as we had a really long day so once again off we went to our rooms for a Good Night's sleep!
And that dear friends I believe concludes day #3 !

Hey Colleen I'm glad you decided to still do the TR! The Safari GG sounds like so much fun, I hope one day I get to try that out too.

I definitely want to try that some time - Lou loves that ride. I'll have to see if I can get a Grand Gathering together... maybe if his and my family go together again, we can do it.

Great AK day update Sounds like everyone had a lot of fun ridding EE . That's so gross about the dinosaur seat belts , you think someone would have informed a CM they were wet after they made them wet, some people are so inconsiderate ! Oh my that camera of yours seems to give you a lot of fits , I'm just glad you got it back and it worked , I must it admit it did give me a good laugh though ! I'm guessing you guys at a Pizzafari ???

Sounds like the GG was a lot of fun , I saw pictures on Tammy's FB and that Monkey was crazy ! Also sounds like you had a nice little dis meet too , CBR's pool is so much fun that is where we stayed this past spring Can't wait to your next post !

It definitely was really fun but the illuminations one was a tad bit more fun than AK.

Well I don't know if I'm gonna get an update in tonight or not DD needs the computer to write as report but if not I'll be back tommorrow with one! Life has just been so darn busy here!!

I'm sorry I've been neglecting this TR I've been so busy trying to do things during this Football/Cheerleading season even though I resigned as Head Coach I'm still the President of the Booster Organization that runs the concession stand and fundraisers etc...and DD has homecoming next weekend and trying to get things in order for this upcoming trip it's been a big stressful headache I'm going to go now and try to get the next day up or at least part of it and I'll get the rest on late tonite if I can't get it all in now.

Ok well things didn't go how I planned. I just got done cropping some pics and getting them all in order as there is a good amount of them because tonite was our 2nd GG Epcot Illuminations International Celebration. I will definitely have this updated late tonite! I have to head to the field as It's almost 1pm and I have to be there at 1pm. As soon as I get in even though it will be late I will definitely update!

OK, Everyone I'm back! My son was sick when I returned home last night so that's why I'm just getting on here now crazy night.
So today we went to Typhoon Lagoon for a few hours in the morning .
We had alot of fun the kids love the waterparks although this would be the last time we did a waterpark this trip becuse of all the rain.
After about three hours we headed back to Pop and we got some lunch at the foodcourt. Then we headed off to the room to get some showers so we could get ready for our Grand Gathering at Epcot it was called Illuminations International Celebration I believe.
At around 5pm we headed off to Epcot as our GG was to start at 7pm we figured we would catch a few rides before it was time to meet at The Odossey.
So we road Spaceship Earth , Test track, Soarin, Mission Space the Green side I'm not Brave enough for the Orange side! So then we started to head to the Odossey . We arrived there and met up with Tammy and family. We always passed by the Odossey on previous trips and never quite new what it was. We assumed it was some type of restaurant but never really new until.
There was alot of people waiting outside for the doors to open so it looked like this was going to be another filled GG just like the Safari.We stood there and waited for the doors to open and right around 7pm this women appears

welcomed us to the Grand Gathering and so on . I honestly don't remember what else she said. After she was done speaking the servers were there waiting and they had cards with Grand Gathering Names on them and called you in one at a time but it did go quickly! So of the GG names were pretty funny.I must say this restaurant is really neat . I'm going to put the pictures up now because I'm going from memory because I have very few notes in my book and I think that is because we were at Epcot until Midnight because it was also EMH night. So here are the pics:

This is how the food was set up so when we walked in Tammy and I stopped to take pictures before anyone went up and disrupted it as we were sure everyone was hungry The cart that kinda looks like a produce cart that was all the kids options and they had a really good selection.
There was Pasta , PBJ sandwhiches, Chicken nuggets, Carrot sticks, Grapes, and a few other things I cannot remember right now but it was a nice variety.
The other food that you see there was basically something from every country I can't remember it all but there was 2 types of pasta from Italy, There was fried rice, Cheese soup, I'm horrible because all that I had was the pasta maybe Tammy remembers more she is putting the GG's on her 365 days of free food report .
During the time that we sat down to eat The women that greeted us( She was in charge I believe she runs the restaurant) all out front came around to tables to ask about any special occasions she had a book she was writing them in and later on during the festivities she read off a long long long list of names and celebrations and she made the people who were celebrating anniversaries come up and stand in front of everyone! There must have been at least 20 couples up there ranging from there 1st anniv to 50th!
I'm going to continue this to the next post!
