OK ladies the August challenge is starting. Not sure what the goodies are going to be yet. I have still been scrapping nighty so I am already starting with 7 pages for August.

I have completed 3 pages so far for August. I am waiting for my new Xyron to arrive (from QVC) before I do anymore scrapbooking. It should be coming today or tomorrow!

My scrapping buddy will actually be in town this week so I have a prayer's chance of getting SOMETHING done in my books again! lol

Welcome to the Aug. challenge. It is open to anyone who scraps and you just keep track of how many pages you finish and post here. Some post weekly or whenever they finish a group of pages. The person with the most pages complete wins a package of scrapbooking stuff from the winner of the previous month. If you win, you become the host and most come up with prizes.

Tookabout half of my scrapping stuff on vacation last week. Got 8 pages done. Not exactly a ton, but I was pleased! Made it worth lugging along all that stuff!....................P

Finished 4 pages yesterday!! My shelving unit on the wall in my scrap room collapsed last night!
My DH and I spent all night rebuilding it, so once I get the room back together I hope to get some scrappin' done!
of course my DH says it collapsed b/c I have too much stuff. Not possible...is it?

Just finished 4yo DS's April-March 2004 Disney book! I still have pictures from that trip, then the pictures from Vero (and I'll have even more from our trip in November), but his book is full and it's one of the one's from Disney, so it's not expandable. (The rest will go into another "catch all" Disney book.)

Managed to get more done over the weekend than I thought possible with about a dozen relatives in town, but there were several stretches when I was at home waiting for one child or another to arrive home from work/trip before heading for the gathering of the clan.

So I put it to good use and am up to 16 pages for the month!

Finished 3 pages yesterday so my total is now at 10. Hoping to get more done this week so I can show my Mom when I see her this weekend.

DH and DS9 are going to the Lions/Steelers preseason game on Sat. so I hope to get some pages done then. Both DS's are going to Camp Grandma next week so that leaves just DD and me home all day. Yee Haw!!! Plus she has some babysitting jobs during the day so I hope to scrap. Just don't tell DH. He thinks I am going to be getting a ton of cleaning done that week. LOL

That is funny Sue! I did that yesterday...ran the vacuum through, sorted out some accumulation on the counter and caught up a couple weeks of ironing. All told maybe an hour -hour and a half work of work. But DH was home while I was doing it (paperwork morning) so once he left I sat down to scrap and he thought I'd gotten "a lot" done around the house!

Tee hee...the games we play!

Finished 4 more pages last night which totals 14 now. I was hoping to get a lot more done than that but it seems everyone wants a part of my time lately. Hoping to get to LSS today and get more paper for my Mom's book. I am in the 1960's and still have b/w photos. So sick of them. Can't wait till I get to the colored one's.
