No docs yet Maybe today or early next week. I need to start laying out things so I can start to weed the clothes and other stuff I won't need.

It is going to be hot hot hot here in Kansas City this weekend so maybe it will be a great time to get started on this. It is already 80's and it is only 8:30am with the humidity at 82%. YUCK!!!

Good morning fellow cruisers!!! I'm starting to stress now and my DH thinks i'm funny. I'm worried about when our character breakfast is. Do people wear shorts to the character breakfast and lunches at Lumiere's? I think I changed my mind on one of my dinner outfits. I hope the cruise hurries up before I totally change my whole wardrobe.

And how is everyone else today?

double scoop is the cruises that go to castaway cay twice instead of once. I've never used a limo in florida so I can't help you but hopefully someone can. I do get Limo's here in Texas from my house to the airport but that's no help.

I'm getting in cruise mode now!!!

Hi everyone,
You can wear shorts to breakfast ok. We did it to the character breakfast and so did tons of other people.

The only meal we dress up for was dinner. That is the only one they post a dress code for. Breakfasts and lunches are very casual.

we went to MK today and rode the revamped pirates ride. There had some great changes and a new sound system which was really nice. We also met our oldest son and had lunch together, then we went and saw the new pirates movie. It was very good. But the special effects are so good I would not take a young child to see it. it could be scary in a few scenes. But it was very good.
I bought myself Mickey ears with the gold earring and red pirate bandana on it for the pirate party, instead of my regular pirate bandana. DH got a new tropical Disney shirt to wear too.

My DD is only 12 but she asked me today if she gets to go to the meet. She's thinking about making her own name on here. Anyway, I told her of course because I want her to meet other kids.

Don't feel alone Kathy. I have so much to do also. My house looks like a tornado went through it and laundry (ugh! ) I will be checking the good old mailbox for the documents from here on out. Hope they come soon.

I am going to call Shirley today to order my DH a bucket of drinks for the cruise. I just hope I remember to pack his beer mug from last time.

Marcie, as far as the character breakfast, yes, shorts are no big deal. Did you see my pics from the other thread? I was being a little rebellious and wore a tank top w/ a big Frosty beer mug on it. Just to go against the grain I guess!!

We're off to a sale at a Dillard's outlet that is going out of business. There are supposed to be some great deals.

It is supposed to get close to 100 here today in Ohio! Yest. was tough too. In the mid 90's w/ lots 'o' humidity! It's beautiful out, and it's killing me to be inside. I love being outdoors. Rob is off on Mondays and I wanted to do something fun, like hit the zoo or my favorite escape...Put-In-Bay. A little island in Lake Erie. www.Putinbay.com or www.Put-in-Bay.com But too hot to do anything!!

Our documents just arrived!!!!!!!!

I really need to get into planning mode and start making my lists of things to pack and things to buy.

Does anyone know what I have to fill out in the booklet if I have already done the online check-in? I know I need to fill out the Bahamas forms but is there anything else? I printed out the two pages from the online check-in to sign, is that all I print out, or is there more? Sorry for all the ???????'s, I don't want to be wasting time at the port filling out paperwork.

I hope everyone else gets their documents today, it just makes it feel more real.

Well now the last 25 minutes of work will really go slow. Thru shipment tracking my area rug I order is in my driveway, it's almost 100 outside and I want to go home and jump in my pool, and now I want our docs to be there, nothing like wishing time to go fast!

I know, it's 94 degrees it is so beautiful when I was driving back to work I was just wishing I was outside soaking up the sun. It's been raining so much lately, I am so glad it's finally sunny.

I typed up a packing list on Excel, I just have to print it out and start checking off stuff. I have a lot of stuff piled together to put in suitcases. I'm just not ready to have suitcases laying all over the place or I would already be putting stuff in them.

I finished my choirs and it's only 3:30.
i have a whole hour to mess around on line
before starting dinner
I was going to make shpaghetti, but my get up and go, has got up and went!!! I will think of something a lot easier.
Lotsof clouds and thunder but NO rain so far today.
I am adding water to the pool as I write. It has all evaporated out til now we have to add water to it. Tomarrow I iwll need to doa water sample to check the balance of the water.
I need to keep it balanced so when the grandkids come to visit in a couple of weeks it will be all set.

Puppy was a bad girl today!! While I was gone she tore up a magazine upstairs. She seemed very proud of herself and anxious to show me. She couldnt understand why I scolded her. Too late to punish her, she wouldnt of understood what I was doing.
Oh well.
gotta go and check the post on my other crusies.

No docs today. Oh well, I swore last time I got mine in the mail- but then again I don't care how they arrive I just want them to arrive!

Ours came in the regular mail last year also. I think it all depends who you us for a TA or if the docs come directly from DCL. Nothing here today, maybe tomorrow!

Glad to hear your docs came. That's 2 of us now that have them. i'm sure the rest will arrive this week.
This will be our first time using the on line check in it is fairly new.
As I understand it, the only thing you need to fill out would be the Bahamas form. Then just fill out and sign the online papers and take them with the Bahamas form to the terminal. We are going to take our documents with us, just in case we goof up on something on line. They dont take up much room.

I guess it is HOT everywhere, so take it easy everyone, dont over due!!
