I'll be there the 11-15th... I went last year on a solo trip and SWORE i would never again do that to myself but my niece decided that she wanted to have her 5th birthday at disney this year (they go every where but recently had a baby when they generally go so they moved their dates) so they figured August for DN bday would be nice so of course she requested that nana and auntie go as well... so I'll be there with bells on It is very hot crowded and muggy as can be... go to the parks at opening leave around 11 and dont plan on heading back till 530-6pm ish the water parks will be at capacity as well your best bet hotel pool....

We will be there August 3-10th.

We know that it will be hot and crowded but we can handle it. We've spent many vacations at Jacksonville, FL since my FIL lives there. Last summer we actually did Jacksonville, a surprise Seaworld trip and a surprise stay at Daytona Beach. The kids loved it as did dh and I.

Hotter than a firecracker is what it is !!!!!!

But at least you can justify spending $20 dollars on a motorized fan that spits cold water that you should have thought to buy at Wal- Mart for 4 before leaving your house !!!!!

We (DH, DS8,DS5,DD2 and I ) will be there from the 7th-17th....We are really looking forward to going...no it was not our "choice" time...but right now the military dictates when he leaves his "temporary place of residency" for R&R.

SO, we are going to have a great positive outlook on the crowds and heat.

Went last year around this same time. And although it was VERY hot... It amazingly didn't bother me to badly. The wait for MOST lines is almost always in the shade/inside. Plus the hotels are nicely air conditioned. Overall pretty excited.

You are staying at the exact same place at the exact same time - imagine that !!! We are coming from Colorado, but I am originally from Park Forest Illinois - lived there until I was 20.
As the trip gets closer.... it is so hard to wait !! Tomorrow I am having a party and will be busy cleaning house... I would so much rather be at disney !! But oh well !!
