its me (37) DH (30, DD(7) and DS(4). Kids are so excited about going back on the "Mickey Boat" as they call it. They had such a blast last time.

Ginny will your kiddos be in school? My DS starts back on the 20th of August but is not heartbroken about missing a week.

wesnesday after labor day - they will miss 3 days. We went on the eastern cruise the same week last year and my DD was caught up within 1 week so I figured what the heck lets do it again.

I know it's gong to take a long time to find out all the tricks (like Comfort Suites for Atlantis access) but are you guys hoping too that 3 months we'll have alot more information on doing stuff on your own ?

is book the Captain Marvins Stingray City excursion instead of Disneys.

1. Much cheaper and you get to go to other areas to snorkle as well.

2. They will allow my DS (4) to go whereas Disney will not


3. You can choose between several times to go so you can also plan on seeing other sites like Hell, Turlte farm etc.. for you want.


Not sure about Cozumel - I know I need to go shopping. My mom got me a beautiful gold necklace of a snorkle scene when she went in January and now my daughter wants one - so grandma promised to pay for one - if I can find it.

We will also hit Carlos and Charlies - Ive heard neat stuff about that.

My kids are also missing 3 days of school! I have been checking out excurions for cozumel ( we have been 4 times before)
We will probably book those on our own.

On OUr honeymoon my dh and I went to Cozumel onRCCL and they had an excursion called "Passion Island" it was WONDEFUL and would love to do it again..anyone know about this ?

I have not heard of this Excursion, was it through RCCL?
I will check around on the Cozumel websites....We are diving so
we will be doing that.

We did through RCCL and the cruise director at the time said it was perfect for honeymooners and there was only a limited number of spots..We had planned another excursion and switched at the last minute...

This was 3 years ago this Aug. so maybe they don't do it anymore..If I remember correctly it included a tour before we got there..

I hope someone knows or has heard of what I am talking about....

We are also on the 8/31 Magic - me (35), DH (35), DD (8) and DD (5). This will be our 5th DCL cruise. My town is finishing up an addition to a school and are not opening school until the week after Labor Day this year, so my daughter will not missing any school. We cruised the last week of August two years ago and the weather was perfect.
