Actually I thouight it was the ports that you visit not the registraion of the ship. The immigration is when you leave the US port and visit a non-US port. On the 4-day cruise you do immigration once when you return to the US from the Bahamas, but since both of the ports are US we would only do immigration when we return from Castaway Cay which is in the Bahamas.

We are home from the lake and found our DOCs waiting for us!!!!! I am definiately up for a meet by the pool at the Ron Jon. We plan to spend the afternoon swimming. How about around 6? Anyone else?

Congrats on the upgrade Varanda Man! Couldn't have happened to a more deserving or nicer guy! We are right down the hall in 7608.

I feel like I have so much to do now to get ready and DH wants to head back to the lake for the next 2 weekends. I better get off here and get busy!

Have you called DCL to see if they have been sent out? Ours were sent out by UPS and DCL gave us a tracking number to follow them from Florida to our home.

No packing here until next week. We have to wait until DW gets the laundry done over this coming weekend, then we can start getting our clothes together. We leave 10 days from Wednesday!!!

I couldn't think that far in advance what to pack - I probably wont pack until the day before - I have been stocking up on disposable cameras for the trip.

I just keep thinking about what it will be like to plant myself in a deck chair with a banana daquiri in my hand.

I'm with you, I think we'll have the laundry and all that stuff done the night before. I started a cruise box with all the extra tolietries and stuff we need to pack. So far it contains two items and a list of about 50 others to place inside, lol.

I'm sure we'll all be bubbling with anticipation come a week from now Denise. We just watched the DVD again tonight, looking forward to all the stuff we didn't get to/weren't able to try on the Wonder.

Vicki and the kids are in Oklahoma visiting family. They return on the 15th. Then 3 frantic days of getting everything ready, as we leave for Fl. on the 19th.
I'm glad I will be working.

I am getting so pumped for this vacation, we leave 10 days from today, I'm getting my "Single Digit Dance" shoes ready!!! I can't believe it is actually this close already, I can't wait!!!

I can't even believe that people are packing already. We'll be up late the night before, as usual, I suspect. But, you all may have inspired me to see if we can't get much of it done at least the weekend before we leave.

I just ordered tickets for Kennedy Space Center, which we'll go to on 8/20, and DQ, which we'll go to on 8/28 before catching a late afternoon plane home. DW and I had voted for SeaWorld (which we've never been to), but we let the kids make the pick.
DW was quite insistent on KSC, though - - she's wanted to do that the past several trips and it never quite worked out.

Anyone else doing KSC the day before the cruise?

I will probably be packing the morning we leave, since we are still in the process of moving and all of our bedroom furniture and clothes will not be moved until the 14th so this could be exciting!! SO we will be packing and unpacking at the same time!
Never said I had good timing!!!

We did KSC after our 2002 DCL, spent the afternoon there, it was pretty interesting, I loved the IMAX-type film they had...the food was expensive.

We are going to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville the Saturday we disembarkl for lunch before we head to the train station. Being a huge Buffet fan, I can't wait!!!

The day before we cruise you will be able to find me at the Radisson pool!!

Maybe we'll meet you at the pool. We don't know our exact plans for the day but I'm sure we'll be down by the pool at some time during the day. I'll try to find you.

WOO HOO GOT OUR DOCS

about 15 minutes ago the DHL guy dropped them off!!! I almost hugged him!!!

My TA even sent AUtogoraph books for the kids!!!

Now I am doing the Doc dance and my co-workers think I am NUTS!!!
