Congrats on the upgrade VM! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!

I actually didn't know the cost of movies in 1937 (so I looked it up). In 1936, the average price of a movie ticket was $0.25 while in 1939 it was $0.23. However, Snow White received only about half of its gross earnings during its initial release. The rest of its earnings came from re-releases in the past couple of decades.

I knew Pinocchio cost >$2M to make, but couldn't recall the "exact" amount which is $2.3M (since I was in the research mode for movie prices).

Congrats on making settlement Denise! Exciting news! Wish Brittany well from us!

Okay Denise, here are a couple for you: What year was Sleeping Beauty released? Who is the villain? (just look at my DIS name)
;)

Congratulations Andy & family. Looks like Tinkerbell threw some pixie dust your way. You really deserve it. Afterall, Verandaman has to have a veranda...doesn't he??;)

Jennifer

It seems to make the cruise more real when you have those docs in hand!!! ::yes::

Congratulations on your closing, Denise! Good luck with the move.
How did Brittany's team do?

Brittany's team didn't do so well last night....aftertwo lightning delays and a rain delay the game was 3 1/2 hours long they lost 18-8...so we play again tonight at 6. Another chance if they win tonight they still go to states!

As for the trivia, her name was Maleficient and it was realeased in 1937. Am I righht? Huh? Huh???

Did I spell it wrong?? Maleficent??

Reignma...Congrats on the DOCS!! Ithink I am the last one...I called my TA today to see what was going on.....

I think Sarah is referring to the 59 in her user name. As in the year 1959.

Congrats on all those receiving their docs!!!

Hi everyone,

Andy,

My daughter received her postcard from Mickey today and she was thrilled. She told me that it made her feel special. I don't know the last time that she has said that to me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart and also thanks to however you asked to send the email. It is so touching that a complete stranger to us went out of their way to do something so special and meaningful.

Congrats on your room upgrade for all you do for other people and for Disney I think they should give you the Royal Suite "with verandah". At least you get my vote.

I changed rooms so that I could have a regular verandah and not a navigator's verandah. I hope that was the right decision so we have moved from the 7th floor to the 6th floor. Was that a good decision?

Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome. I don't have docs either.

I guess it all comes down to personal choice. Some people like the Navigator's Verandah because it helps to block the wind when we are out at sea. I like the regular verandah, because I like the openess when sitting on the chair, or even looking out from the cabin.

Well fellow San Juan Sojourners, we are now down to the last three weeks until we sail away, and just two weeks until my family heads to the Sunshine State!!! I am so glad we decided to fly instead of making that long drive. See you all very soon!!!

I can't beleive how close it is getting. I think i will start packing. Everytime i go shopping i keep getting things for the cruise. I need to quit shopping.

The boys are all set for formal nights.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

I can't beleive it is Friday already. Before you or i know it, it will be the friday to leave. :Pinkbounc :wave2:

Been hang out here lurking for a while now.
Will also be on the august 21 cruise.
3 adults 1 sister 13
Second dcl cruise first on magic. 4 day wonder last sept.

Found out something cool while i was check out the dcl web site. There was a table for our cruise and it listed the ST. Thomas all aboard time as 7:30p.m instead of 5:30pm as the reservation says.
Here is the link to see for yourself.

Andy, Congrats on your upgrade. That is a nice bump up. We were in 7001 in January and loved the location. Just be careful because it is alot farther of a drop if you fall overboard.

;)
