Aug. 21, 2004 Eastern Magic check in list

Congrats on your upgrade Andy.

Thank you so much for the Mickey and Minnie postcards that you sent my children. It was amazing what you did and they loved the cards.
I am still shopping for a few more cruise items, took DH suit to the cleaners, picking up the seasick patches etc.
Will be bringing the suitcases out this weekend.

Does anyone know if there is a way to find out what movies are playing during our cruise?

Everyone, keep your fingers crossed for me. We have the flu going around my office and knowing my luck, I will bring it home to my family. Keep your fingers crossed that we don't get it.
Thanks

Second dcl cruise first on magic. 4 day wonder last sept.

Found out something cool while i was check out the dcl web site. There was a table for our cruise and it listed the ST. Thomas all aboard time as 7:30p.m instead of 5:30pm as the reservation says.
Here is the link to see for yourself.

As of today, we have 27 DIS "families" sailing with us. Any more lurking out there? :D

Kids, we have kids! There are 38 kiddos 12 and under. Only 4 teenagers in this group?

Andy, help! I can't find my original 'cut and paste' with the brunch group's info. Thanks!

Wait! Wait! You forgot us! There's me, my DH, DD (15) and DS (12). I don't want to be left out. Sorry, I just found the meets boards today. Hope to meet some of you on the cruise.

We have a DD 14, is your DD going to be joining in with the teens at The Stack? Our DD did a few things with the teens last year, but not knowing anyone made it a bit difficult on her.

Yes she will. Her name is Noelle. She's nervous again about meeting new friends. She joined the teens two years ago on our last cruise and had a blast. We hardly saw her the whole trip except for breakfast and dinner. Never came home till 2 am every night. I don't know why she is nervous about making friends again. Maybe she can hook up with your daughter.

Our DD Angelina is the same way. The few things that Angelina did with the teens last year, she really enjoyed, I will tell her about Noelle being on the cruise.

BTW, thanks for sending the info for our cruise list, I will be working on that this morning.

Denise, are we the last two people that didn't get their docs?

I noticed that discrepancy, too. The itinerary that came with the ship's docs listed the 5:30 departure. I'm assuming that controls. These itineraries are all subject ot change. On our last cruise, they switched the order of two of the ports that we were stopping at. I sent an e-mail from on-board to a private tour guide that we had booked in Grenada to let him know we were coming a day later than anticipated, and we really didn't know what to expect when we arrived, but he had gotten the message.

Does anyone think they know how long we're really in port in St. Thomas?

Dan

I sent you a PM about Ron Jon that week.

Welcome to all of our new cruisers! Congrats, Brittany!!!
Yes, August is finally here.
Have a great day.

OK..I am still a little confused about something........Since our first port is St. Thomas which is a US territory do we still have to go through immigration that morning? I am thinkiing that we don't because we haven't been to a non-US port. Is this correct?

You are correct, we will NOT have to go through immigration at St. Thomas on this cruise!!!

My girls are happy, as that means no early wake up call that morning from ME!!! LOL!!!

OK...Thanks Andy for the confirmation.

Also, I check on the website for Cruise ship schedules and it says we are scheduled to dock at WICO (Havensight) leaving at 4:45pm. So I guess that answers that question!

Actually, I'm still wondering about that myself. Since we are not on an U.S. flagged boat, we are technically in the Bahamas on the Magic right, at least according to it's registry? In which case, we'd go through customs returning to a U.S. port. Otherwise, wouldn't that mean we'd only have one round of customs on sad day, i.e., debarkation?

I think I'm going to send off am email to DCL... I know, nit-picking
