Of course, if you're down there before November 15, you can book a bounceback then you will have free dining for next year already.

if i go down there in the next few months for one day and stay at a resort can i book a bounce back for my next trip? or do i have to stay at least a week the reason why I ask is because i may be going with my mother and she does not do disney but i can convince her to do this but she wont stay for a week..

Yup. The free dining bounceback is available until November 15.

Most likely in January the BB will be a room only for the rest of 2014 (with some blackout dates of course).

We were there the last week of August and got the BB for August, 2014. It starts 8/20/14 for free dining.

The BB offer was kind of hidden, though. It was tucked inside the little info booklet that you have in your room. If you didn't go through that, you missed it. If you were there late August, this BB was available at that time.

This makes me kind of annoyed though, and mad at myself for not remembering to call while I was there. Having read before that these things can be kind of hidden, as you said, I simply took the entire brochure/folder with me and looked through the whole thing. I didn't see anything for 2014 before we left, but I took it with me anyway (why I don't know, since it doesn't help me after I'm home). I've searched through it at least twice since I've been home, trying to see if I missed something. There is nothing there for 2014. I wonder if they changed it right after I left. The bb discounts in the folder in my room were for the duration of 2013 and they were room only discounts. Good ones, 30-35%, but only for 2013.

Given the odd way Disney did fd discounts for 2013, I am fearful that the same thing will happen in 2014, and I will not get it again.

I'm not sure there is anything I could have done differently, so I guess I'll just sit here and feel sorry for myself.

I was able to book two rooms for the 2014 because we had two adults in the room on the 2013 reservation. They specifically asked and I had to make two deposits and have two reservations. However, if I had three children instead of two, we could have booked two rooms on a single reservation.

So, I just got an email with a pin code with booking dates into September 2014!!!!!!! It's a 35% off deluxe!!! So I called, and I did book Poly, but they did not have just the standard garden view room. They only had club level, but I grabbed it anyway. It's out of my price range, although with the discount brings it closer. I'm going to keep trying to get the standard garden view room.

Here's the weird part though. While I was on the phone with them, I went to their website, and the same discount was there under special offers!!! I had not heard about this discount being offered to the public, and neither did the CM!! So either a) I'm clueless right now about what discounts are out there, or b) there's a glitch in the system.

I dunno, but I'm just so darn excited!!! I would rather have the fd discount, but believe me, I'll take 35% off!!! That's almost double the discount I had for 2013!!

It wasn't a link. If you go to "Places to Stay", then go to "Special Offers", and the very first one is the 35% off through September something. It was there an hour or two ago. Let me know if you find it.
