Way too confusing...
Sitting back and looking at the pretty pictures... Which you do rock the fanny pack...
The girls are JUST TOO CUTE!!! Your fine the way you are...
Thanks Mo... There's just something about that fanny pack...
Love the picture of you and the girls. They are so little....And of course you are rockin the fancy pack/water bottle. I wonder what the girls would say if you strapped that on during your trip in August.
Thanks Liz! I am not sure what my girls would do - they would either tease me like crazy and we'd all be laughing hysterically... Or they would leave me.
Sounds like you have got your tickets all figured out. Your Target discounts really add up and are an even better deal then the military discount!!!! I have never been to DQ (Disney Quest, because I have been to Dairy Queen) but it doesn't appeal to me. I think I would want to leave after ten minutes, especially if it was crowded. Don't make yourselves crazy trying to squeeze in more water park time, which I am sure you would do if you had the tickets. Plus, you could always upgrade the regular Disney tickets when you are there?????
Yes - it is strange that the Target discounts work out to be so good.
I would be the same way with DQ - I think... To me, I feel like it is one giant arcade, and I really don't have the patience for that sort of thing.
Your bags look so cool all stacked up

Maybe show them individually and then repost as a group as a reminder right before the auction?
I seriously have not decided how I am going to reveal them yet... I am getting low on days - so I will probably end up doing a photo with everything spread out again like I did last time?
Hope you get to your bags soon. Looking forward to August so I can see what you create.
I hope so too... My schedule over the next 2 months is quite crazy - however, I did manage to take some time off from my custom orders - so between now and when we leave, I have 3 weeks scheduled off... One is the week after next, Then one is the last week in July, and finally the week before we leave. So - I know for sure that will give me 4 bag sets right there - the rest - well they will have to be worked into my customs schedule. Not to mention, I also have my July and August bag auctions to make on the side. I have not decided yet - but I may be cancelling my August auction, since we will be on our trip - and I am not sure how I would manage to do that while I am gone? I would have to have everything ready to go before we leave...
Sounds like Scenerio #1 for tickets looks like the best option. I don't like water parks so I would never buy tickets for that
I agree Lillian... #1 seems the best and easiest for us, as well - I am pretty sure that is the one we are going to do. I am a bit nervous about the water park... I love the nice slides and the lazy river - but there is no way in H-E-double hockey sticks that you will find me on Summit Plummet or whatever it is called...

The girls - maybe - but certainly not me. LOL
We did the WP&M option one year & only used it one day - total waste of money. Then again, the only thing at the water parks DH gets into is the lazy river types and the roller coasters (Crusher Gushers?) at TL. And I am not a video game person and DH loves team type video games, so DQ is kinda a bust for us. Now, back in the day when CheeseCake factory ran the top level eatery....I could go then just for the cheesecake.
See, and this is what I am worried about... I just know myself and how frugal I am - and if I was to add the WPF&M option, I would do my best to get the "best bang for my buck" and we'd be all over the place trying to use up our credits... It could just turn out very badly. I think, this time, I will cut my losses and just buy the tickets outright, then I won't be tempted.
Good luck with your own bags. I've loved the sneak picks you've posted on FB for your crazy days. Best of luck there too.
Thank you - I am very excited about them. Today's sneak peek should be fun - it gives away a fun detail about one of the bags.
Love the picture of you and the girls.
I am very excited about your auctions.
Thanks Chiara! How are you feeling? I hope everything is going OK.
I am still very nervous about my auctions - as long as I sell every single item at the starting bid - I will make my budget, but I always worry that I won't get any bids at all - so I am kind of a wreck.
Anxiously awaiting your auction too! I might have to try for another bag....and dh is encouraging me. This is bad.....for me, not for you... LOL
LOL You can tell your DH that I love him.

That is just hilarious! At least you already own one of my bags, so you know exactly what you are getting... That's what blows my mind the most - is that once people have one - it seems that they just want more... Which is good for me - just baffling that's all.
Had a great time had a nice filling meal from the kids menu and it is still satisfying to me no pics of me & my shy friend but I did buy a few things which I will post later on my ptrs you have so much going on here not big items $$$$ just make me happy items, the best kind

Told her breaking out the camera next time we get together planning on breakfast at AoA in a few weeks never been there just saw posted pics Hugs TTY later oh sounds like bidding wars will brew on your auctions, no worries there I can feel it
Hi Ruthie - bummer about no pics... Your smiling face always seems to make me happy - I know how far you have come in the recent months to get to this spot - so it just makes my day!
Oooh - I can't wait to see what you purchased. Did you post them already and I missed them? I remember looking into your PTR a few times last night, and I didn't see anything.
I have a new tablet and it does the same thing. If I want to make sure I can see pictures, I have to do it on pc or laptop. Phone and tablet are not consistent.
My phone sometimes does this too - so, I try not to check other's PTRs from it - otherwise I miss stuff... Mine I don't mind so much, because it isn't often that people post pics in mine.
Oh the dilemmas of what to do apples... To oranges!
LOL - I know, I know...
PLEASE tell me I have heard this all my life and never quite understood the use
of this term/analogy what am I missing I mean they are both fruits...I don't get it so I ask here in my "safe place"
I will try to explain - how I understand it anyways... Apples and oranges are both fruits, but other than that - they don't have much else in common... One is red, one is orange - one is a citrus, one isn't... So comparing apples to oranges is like saying you are trying to compare two totally different things and make them equal - which can rarely be done - they both have their good and bad qualities, and trying to make them equal is almost impossible. Does that make more sense?
D~ Do you or the girls have a smartphone? I recently started using shopkick since I'm at target at least once a week, and already earned a target giftcard that I used to buy a Disney giftcard. You get points for just walking into a target and points for making a purchase. It might be worth looking into.
I have a smart phone - but the girls do not... That is sort of something Josh and I are freaky about. LOL We just feel like the girls have sooo many exterior forces playing on them as it is, that's just one less bit of technology they need in their lives. Some day - they may have one, but not any time in the near future. That being said... They do get to use all of my Target discounts on their gift cards - Allison has a summer babysitting job, and V is babysitting for the other neighbor exclusively, so they are both making a nice chunk of change. I told them the other day that they (at the very least) need to bring $100 in Disney GCs with on our trip for souveniers... They can bring more, if they'd like - but they need to bring that much. $100 in Disney GCs will cost them $81.23 - and on average that is about what they are clearing weekly from their babysitting $$, so I don't think they should have any problem bringing that amount with them? I hope...

Well, I finished my custom order bag yesterday... Took photos and got it all ready to mail out - then I went back and looked at my notes and realized this person ordered a wallet and zipper pull too... Oops! So, I will be working on those this afternoon... That's the first time I've ever done that.
This morning Alli and I are running to town... I would like to stop at Target... They have my favorite tank tops on sale this week for $7, and I have a coupon for -$5 off of $20 for that brand... after my discounts - I could get 3 Tank tops for a total of $12.95 - which isn't the best deal in the world - but I've been stock piling some new tank tops for our trip. And if I buy 3 more, I will have just enough.

Now I need to decide on colors - I am still a little miffed that they don't have any plain red ones...

I keep hoping that they will come out with more normal colors, but it's not looking too hopeful at this stage.
Last night - Alli and I watched Pearl Harbor the movie... I've only seen it once, and that was when it first came out on DVD - so it's been YEARS... Alli and I were both in tears by the end.
Anyways - after my trip to town this morning, I will be in my sewing room for the remainder of the day... I need to make the wallet and zipper pull... Then I need to crank out my last 2 GAC holders - if necessary, I can work on the camera straps on Monday after I finish my custom order work for the day.
Here's today's "back in time" Disney photo from 2003... I am having issues with finding a photo with just Alli... I have a few - but she was making some really odd faces???

I will keep looking.
I can't remember - but I think Josh made me take the water bottle out of this picture...
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend - and prayers going out to those who need them.
D~
