Good Question. I wasn't planning on assigning each family a specific day(s). I think it would be better to have everyone pass out goodies based on what is most convenient for them.

No docs here yet. But we're in CA, so it's probably a few days to get here from FL. For the FE exchange, I'd prefer just to do the gifts once. I don't think I have the time or energy to plan to exchange every day. I think we should just have everyone do what's convenient. It would be hard to assign days when you don't know exactly what you'll be doing every day.

I'll try to make the meet at 10am on Monday. I don't think DH or the in-laws will be interested, but I'll bring the kids so hopefully they can meet some new friends. It would be nice since they are all in different age groups for the clubs.

I'd posted a thread on Passporters and apparently no one else on that board was cruising 8/3. the thread here is HUGE! I'm thrilled to see so many other enthusiastic peeps coming! This will be our 3rd Disney cruise. So cool to have the Magic here near home (we're about 15 min from Disneyland). It'll be me, my DH, DS(12), DD(10) and DD(7), plus Sister in law and 2 nephews. DS is particularly excited about the new tweens age group for the kids program. we're anxiously counting down (and awaiting docs)...

Just got out docs! They were delivered via UPS at 7:15pm. Haven't even had a chance to look at them yet. August 3rd will be here soon!

Also, I am glad to hear that we are all starting to get our Docs. It really is getting closer. That is very exciting.
I go by IceSk8ersMom because my DD ice skates. She started skating at Disney Ice when she was four years old. She will compete in her last competition tomorrow. After almost ten years of ice skating she is quitting skating competitively. It is an end of a chapter, which is a bit sad

We got our docs in Fri via UPS and my DD is so excited! I think it's best that we do the FE when we can and not have set days. The luxury about being on a cruise is not having an agenda and I couldnt promise that I would do it on our assigned days. My DD and I will split of the list and do one on a day and the other half another day so that we're not running around the boat. I think I might be more excited than her.... sooo not true says my DD.

Wow, three weeks from today!

Yesterday was a good day. Rae and Nic both skated away with first place trophies. There were tears (since it was Rae's last competition), but they quickly dried. Thanks to the Jonas Brothers. According to DD, the concert rocked!

Rae, Amanda, and Nic are beside themselves with excitement. Besides the Jonas Brothers, the Cruise was the topic of conversation all day yesterday. DD is acting like the cruise director telling them everything that they could possibly want to know about DCL.

The wedding plans...Parents are very excited. Mom and I keep reviewing packing lists. Dad is like a typical groom: "Just tell me when and where, and I will be there." And I got the final Invoice. Problem with Palo reservations...The coordinator could only get the adult wedding party on a waiting list. I will have to go to Rockin Bar D to "confirm upon my embarkation" (which is one thing that I wanted to avoid doing). So much for the wedding planner making things easier. Oh well, it will work out. It always does.

The Bon Voyage Party (Who was the smart one that scheduled a party for 80 people the day before we leave?) That was me. My sister and I have it under control, or should I say: We are under the illusion that we have it under control.

I started brainstorming ideas of FE gifts. Any suggestions? Is there a price range?

Hi - We are looking forward to the cruise in a few short weeks I lost count, but think this is about my 7th or 8th cruise on Disney (most on the Magic).

I am having trouble finding out information on transfers since we are coming in the day before from the East Coast and staying at a hotel near the airport. Disney said to show up at LAX and get our transfer to the ship on Sunday morning, but I can not find out any information about what time -- where to meet the Disney representatives, etc. Does any one have a clue on this one?

Yesterday, I received the Fairy Tale Wedding Packet. The first thing that caught my eye was the white themed luggage tags in a beautiful bag. Then, OMG...all of the documents stated that we will be sailing on the Disney WONDER!
I knew it was a mistake, but I still freaked out. After I left two messages for the wedding coordinator and her assistant and a sleepless night, I finally got a hold of her early this morning. It was an error. The documents should have stated the Magic not the Wonder. Now, I can relax, but first, I have to sign and fax the final, final confirmation to Celebration, FL. Off to the fax machine I go.
