Auditory Processing Disorder - Tests to ask for

I suspect that DS6 has auditory processing disorder. From what I have read about it, before an audiologist will test for APD, the child must have a comprehensive evaluation done. I am trying to write a letter to the principal but I'm not sure what kind of tests to ask for. Can anyone help me? Thanks so much.
