Auction donation

I am going to book a 4 night stay with my DVC points to donate to a fundraiser that I am chairing. I want to book it to secure the nights well before the auction. Should I just book it under my name and change the names once it sells in the auction? Will DVC let me do that? THANKS

Yes, book it in your name then email DVC with the winners names after the auction taking you off and adding them. After working the change, give the reservation number to the winner so they can link it to their MDE account.

Yes, I knew that they weren't tax deductible. It's more about getting a BIG item into our auction and I am happy to do it for the cause.
Thank you I figured I could just changed the names but wanted to be sure before I booked.

Make sure the bidders understands that this has no changeables for the dates, size of unit, or resort.
