hey my name is edward im interested in doing the college program i wanted some advice which attractions are the worst to work at and which attractions are the best to work at

Well there is really no good answer to this question because it is all a matter of taste and for alot of people, including myself, it doesn't even matter what attraction you work at because you are going to have a blast being there anyway. That being said, if you do indeed apply and get accepted into attractions, you will not have any choice on which attraction you will work at. Disney picks that for you and lets you know the day of your check in.

I worked in attractions on my first CP, and I worked at the Speedway in MK. I admit when I first heard that i got the speedway I wasn't thrilled because I had heard some bad things about it, but all my preconceived notions about it were all for nothing and I lost all of them within the first day or two. In the end, I loved the speedway and I wish that I was going to be back there on my upcoming program. Whatever attraction you're assigned though, it's up to you how fun it is to work there.

The attraction really depends on the people. There are locations that some people love, and other people absolutely hated. I've been in attractions since Aug (first at TSM, and currently at GMR). TSM was ok, but I wasn't that happy there. However, I absolutely love GMR, and will be going FT there in 2 weeks

Haha, this could be my story exactly! Except for a year later. I'm pretty sure I was close to tears that first morning when I found out...now I absolutely love it.

It really is what you make of it. Even if you do not get placed in one of the "top" attractions like Jungle Cruise, GMR or TOT, you can still have such a great time. Overall, Attractions is fast paced role with a lot of guest and fellow cast member interaction. Go in with a positive attitude and have fun. Good luck with your program! :goodvibes

I got accepted a few months ago for Attractions for the Fall too and I was wondering about something..in my phone interview, they asked multiple times if i felt comfortable speaking in public, which of course i do. if the recruiter on the phone said after my answer that it sounds like i'm really outgoing and don't sound like i have a problem speaking or remembering long narrations, does that mean i'll be placed on one of those rides or that i have a better chance or anything? i was just curious if they took that into consideration, either from your experience or the experience of your fellow CPs.

It's considered, but still guarantees nothing. I competed in public speaking and debate for 5 years, so I definitely was comfortable memorizing and delivering lengthy speeches. My interviewer (for fall 08) commented on this a lot. I thought I'd probably end up with a spiel ride. Then I ended up at Splash Mountain. It was amazing, I had a blast, and couldn't imagine being anywhere else!

awesome thanks! i'm so excited to get down there, i can't wait!
