Attractions You'd Nix

We all have our favorite attractions at each WDW park. I'm sure there are "attractions" some have never experienced... I'm not speaking of them. What WDW attraction at each of the parks would you most like Disney to nix and use the space to have something better?

I am not brave enough nor do I have a list of my own... I am still focused on the attractions my family WANTS to experience. I just though it would be interesting to see what you guys think.

Well, I'm kind of with you on not having a "nix" list, and just like to focus on what I DO like. But if I had to choose, I guess it would be Stitch's Great Escape.

Stitch and mission space

If we are talking disneyland/california adventure, I would get rid of the silly Ferris wheel and screaming coaster. These are rides for amusement parks not theme parks. The whole boardwalk thing is horrible. Westcot should have happened.

I think Disney could do better than Stitch at MK, Captain EO at Epcot, and GMR and Backlot at DHS (use the land for a Star Wars land).

I'd like to see revisions to Imagination at Epcot and CoP at MK.

No real opinions either way at AK.

Lights, Motors, Action and Backlot Tour. Just think what they could put there with all that space. Another nix is going, American Idol, about time too.

MK: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: The seats are too small, the carts don't rock as advertised, it takes up too much space, and is really just meh

HS: Backlot Tour: the trams are cramped, there really is no backlot anymore

Epcot: Mission Space: It's killed people! Case closed

AKrimeval Whirl: I needed a new spine afterward

It's interesting to see what has been mentioned so far. I said that I was too focused on what we WANT to see... not what we'd like to see gone... but Stitch & Tomorrowland Speedway @ MK, Captain EO @ Epcot, Backlot Tour @ DHS, & Dinoland @ DAK were on my mind when initially asking the question.

I guess the next question would be, what would like Disney to do with the space space each nixed attraction leaves behind?

At DHS, I am looking forward to Star Wars Land worship: or better yet, possibly a 5th Gate Park???). But imagine what they could do with the space of Stitch and Tomorrowland Speedway @ MK! The sky is the limit with Epcot and Animal Kingdom.

That's a ridiculous statement. Lots of rides have had people die on them that don't close. The ride did not kill anyone. People who had a condition and shouldn't have been riding it died because they rode it. MS is a fun ride, but not for everyone. Same with any thrill ride. And has it actually killed multiple people? I've only heard of one. And they have the green version so I don't see an issue.

Let me preface this by saying that I enjoy all the attractions at some level, yes, even stitch... kind of. I'd only like to see these gone if something better were coming in:

MK:
Bearenstein Bears (or however you spell it)
Stitch
Tiki Room
Tom Sawyer Island. That place is horrible for getting turned aound, losing kids and mother in laws, etc... speaking fom experience.

AK:
The entire Dinoland area (the carni feel is just so out of place in a Disney park, IMO)

HS:
Backlot tour (Sad to say. We did enjoy it 4 years ago, but haven't done it again since. Would have loved to have seen it in full glory back when it first opened)
Idol Experience

Epcot:
Mission Space (waste of a LOT of Disney money and effort IMO)
Maelstrom
Nemo ride (they can do better)
Captain EO!!
Soarin (just kidding It's my fav)

We love MS, and it's a must do for us. I agree that everyone needs to be responsible about which thrill rides they choose to go on.

MK: Stitch's Great Escape; I don't think there is anything else that actually needs to go.

DHS: They already nixed the main thing I hoped would go away with American Idol, so now I would say it's time to put away, in order 1: That Pirates of the Caribbean show thing, 2: Back Lot Tour (this was cool way back when the actual studios were functioning), and 3: I'd be okay to see Indiana Jones show go.

EPCOT: Captain Eo; I was excited when it came back for nostalgia, then I watched it again, and remembered why EPCOT was better off without it. Other than that, EPCOT needs to ADD things before they get rid of anything.

AK: I've never cared for anything in the dinosaurs area. The Dinosaur ride is fine, but the rest isn't much fun. I never understood the "time machines + carnival arcade" motif there.
