I've been looking everywhere but can't find this information. I'll be taking my 4yr DS and 6yr DD to MK, MGM, and AK alone while DH is at a conference next month. I'm worried about which rides only seat two people together leaving one of us to sit alone. I'm mostly worried about dark rides i.e. Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Buzz, etc. Does anyone know where I can find this info or can you help out. Thanks.

most things i can think of with the exception of something like rrn or space mt ( doubt you'd be doing that with a 4 yr old) have seats that would fit you all...either bench type seats or even if they are molded ones probably big enough for 2 tiny tushes on one side. sure that would be with buzz, pirates, haunted mansion, think dinosaur fits at least a few across, safari would be fine,.

i think btmrr, sp mt, rnr, tomorrowland speed way, are the only ones i can think of that could be a problem ( probably a few more i'm missing)

I have been taking my girls as the solo adult since they were 1 and 3, you will have a blast. I can't think of anything that we rode when they were 4 and 6 that we didn't ride three in a row.

All the dark rides are fine, inclduing buzz, I took the middle and did the spinning and the kids took the guns to shoot the targets. Plenty of room in HM, Snow White, Pooh and Pirates. The only thing that was a bit tight was the Barnstormer. Also BTMR and Splash are fine if your 4yo is 40", willing and ready.

In fact even now at 8 and 10 the only thing we have to split up for IIRC is RnRc and that won't be an issue for you!!

If you have more questions on taking kids as the solo adult feel free to ask or pm me. I have taken my dd's at least once a year for the past 8+ years.

Here's a link from All Ears with pictures of the seating:

http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/gal_ride.htm

When DH and I took DD2 in May, on Pooh and Buzz, one of us sat in the back of the seats. Not a big deal because we were still "together". Dumbo only seats 2 I think.

There is only one seat on each dumbo elephant and while two adults and a kid can be tight two kids and an adult fit fine. I still fit with my dd's and they are now 8 and 10. Magic Carpet rides have two seats in every carpet but even then two kids and an adult should fit. We also fit in the tricateratops spin at AK.

I also forgot about Space Mtn - three in a row front to back but unless your 4yo and 6yo are both 44" - and willing that won't be an issue.

ETA - I am not trying to nitpick but since I am in the same situation as the OP I pay alot of attention to this particular detail.

I dont know where you can find this info, but maybe this can be helpful:

Space Mountain is single seaters with 3 seats to a vehicle (in other words, 3 people can get on the same vehicle but you're seated one behind the other)
Splash Mountain is a 2 seater, but I'm sure you could squeeze 3
Haunted Mansion can definitly seat an adult and 2 small children
Pirates is big enough for like 4 or 5 people to a row
Thunder Mountain can also seat an adult and 2 small children
Buzz Lightyear only seats 2 people (there are only 2 astro blasters per row)

Hmmm...I cant think of what else...are there any more specific rides you were wondering about?

Thanks everyone. The allears link was very helpful. I was really worried about standing in a long line only to get to the front and find out only two could sit next to each other. Luckily DS isn't 44" inches yet (although he's hoping to stretch another 1" in 3 wks) so Space Mt. isn't an issue. Does anyone know about Big Thunder Mountain Seating?

My dd's and I still fit fine 3 in a row on BTMR and they are 8 and 10 so no worries, same with Splash.

Honestly, anything you want to ride you will fit even, buzz that another poster mentioned. There are only the two blasters but like I said I took the middle and "steered" while the kids blasted away, plenty of room and we still do that. Or at least we will be come the 4th of October, yippee.
