Hi all! We have exactly 2 months until our trip to WDW and we're ridiculously excited!!! Having looked into the Photopass/Memory Maker, we came across the Attractions+ photopass. I know you can't purchase this ahead of time. So I have a few questions for anyone who has recently used this service (only the attractions+, not the entire photo pass/memory maker):

1. Where do you go to purchase this?

2. If there are 4 members of our party, do we all have to purchase this? Odds are, we'll all be in the same ride vehicle anyway.

3. What is the current price?

4. Is it just jpeg photos, or do you obtain hard copies?

Thanks for any help :thumbsup2

Hi i know they are high res jpeg but i didn't know you could get the package for just the rides we just got the photopass + very worth it and u have to get it 2 weeks in advance to get the promotion for 150$ and no not all people from the group have to get it just one and get that personne to get the photos after the ride. If some one goes on a ride without the photo pass person get the photo id # and go get it after i hope this helps

It is 44.95, I have never seen anywhere to buy in advance but we did buy it last trip.

Purchase an Attractions+ card and get digital downloads of the photos taken while you are on select attractions. At the end of participating attractions, present your Attractions+ card to the Photo Sales Center attendant and they will add your ride photo to the card. The card is good for 14 days worth of photos and the photos must be claimed within 30 days.
Participating locations:
•Space Mountain
•Splash Mountain
•Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
•The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
•Rock 'n Roller Coaster
•Expedition Everest
•Dinosaur
•Test Track

Thanks! We're still toying around with the idea of getting the whole thing...but we may end up just getting the attractions one.

Where did you purchase it?

I think you can get the attractions + at the photo store in MK building on your first right where tonys town square restaurant is but to be honest if you can afford the extra 100$ i woukd take the photopass + we stayed for 9 days and had over 200 photos evrytime we see a photos pass guy we would get a photo and the magic shots are awesome too hope this helps

You can buy it at the photo desk for the rides. Just tell them you'd like the Attractions+ pass rather than a single photo, and they'll take care of it for you.

Thanks everyone! We may just splurge on the Photopass+, after reading more about it.

When going to take a picture from one of the Photopass photographers, do you need to wait long? Is there ever a line to take a picture? There are enough lines in WDW, we don't want to wait on any more lines than we have to

there was occasionally a short line of 2-3 people waiting for a cameraman. Moreso early in the day when everyone is entering at some of the iconic locations (castle, spaceship earth, sorcerer hat, tree of life). Animal Kingdom had the longest line, there didn't seem to be as many photographers available in the popular spots. For most of em we just walked up to the photographer and asked for some pictures for memory maker. Also requested some magic shots, and some were offered without asking. At some of the busier spots, we just came back later in the day when they weren't as busy.

I thought memory maker was well worth the $150. Especially if you've got kids and are doing character greetings.

Theres usually no lines maybe a 2 min wait for popular shots trust me we go every year and have thousands of disney photos but we still get the fastpass + every time hope you enjoy!! Have a magical trip but don't forget to book it 2 weeks before you get there on the day if not it will be 200$ you save 50$ to book early

Great info...thanks! We don't have kids, my fiancé and I are early 30's, and we're going with my parents. But we are doing a character breakfast and plan on going on all of the attractions that offer photos, so I feel it may be well worth it for us. We always vacation together, and it's very difficult to get a picture that has all of us in it, so this will be a great opportunity to get some family photos in!

Thanks for all your help Sprocket! Much appreciated!
:thanks:

It is worth the $150.00 to me just so I don't have to carry the camera around all day.
