Attention WL veterans!!!!!!!!!

Hey all you WL veterans! DH and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary at the WL in January. Please help us with some tips on making this our most magical Disney trip ever! We've never stayed here before, and have always wanted to, so any and all info. is appreciated!

Oh, you'll love the resort.

Watch the electric water pageant from the beach - it goes by about 9:30 or so - check www.wdwig.com for schedule or at desk when you check in.

There is a really quiet alcove on the 4th floor facing the courtyard & another above the front door. To access the one above the front door, go toward the restrooms in the corner by whispering canyon (to the right if you're looking at the front entrance. There's a set of stairs there - go up. The doors at the top are unlocked - it lets you into the balcony.

Get some hot chocolate & hang out by the fireplace - people watching can be fun too. The trail from the WL to FW is supposed to be a nice scenic walk too (I plan to check it out on our next trip!)

Not sure if they do it without kids or even if they still do it at all, but at check-in, see if you can be a flag family. You go to the roof in the morning and raise the flag. The roof offers a spectacular view of the property. Best wishes.....

We love WL!

My favorite thing we did was to take the ferry over to Fort Wilderness and attend Hoop Dee Doo Revue! The show is sooo hilarious and fits right in with the WL theme. We went to the 7:15 show and on the way back to the resort, the ferry passed the electric water pageant and it was so neat to see! That night was our best memory of our entire trip (5 days at WDW followed by a 7-day DCL cruise).
