Attention all Buffalo area Weight Watchers!!

Well, after my dealings with Weight Watchers, and a compromise, I'm going to work for them!

For those who don't remember or don't know the story, I wanted to work for them, but was told I couldn't unless I weighed 179 pounds, which would be DANGEROUSLY underweight for me, considering that I lost so much, and have a LOT of excess skin.

Well, now, I only have to be 194 pounds, which is within my doctor prescribed weight loss range. My leader pulled me aside today and told me that they're going to hire me, and I'm going to start my training soon!

I'm so glad that I'll be able to give something back, and help others the way that I was helped.

I miss everybody here!!! Since my engagement, I've been planning the wedding, and honeymoon and it's put a cramp in a lot of my extra time!

We will be honeymooning at Disney World. (As if you couldn't tell by the signature!) I've booked us 10 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

We've decided on the reception place, and have put down a deposit. Now, we're working on the church. We're getting married on a Sunday to save money on the reception, but the catholic church isn't really all that into Sunday weddings, so we're having to do some finagling to get the church.

I miss you all, and send all of you my love, support, and good WISHes for weight loss! Hopefully soon, I'll be able to check in more frequently!

Congratulations! I'm so glad you are going to be a WW leader-- you are going to do such a great job at that.

No fair not visiting WISH, though. You are a great inspiration to us all.

Congrats on your engagement Dan! I'm glad that you've got everything worked out with WW. You'll have to let me know when your meetings are ... I might just have to take a trip to Buffalo to attend your meeting!

Which location are you going to be at? I go to the meetings at the North Buffalo location (by Target).

That is so cool that they decided to hire you!

Good luck at finding a church. Have you tried any of the non-denomination churches..or is your heart set on Catholic?

I don't know where I'll be working yet, so I'm not sure, but I do know that the North Buffalo location needs some help. I think I'll be doing my training at the Niagara Falls Blvd. location in the Burlington Plaza.

My heart isn't necessarily set on Catholic, it's just where I work so I figured it wouldn't be a problem, but alas, it seems to be! Oy.

I'm really happy for you! A couple of days ago, I read both of your WDW Trip Reports and noticed that you had taken the same "best friend" both times. Then I noticed your signature with the honeymoon plans! Way cool! I'm assuming your "best friend" is also your fiance.

And the job sounds great! There's nothing like leading by example and experience, so you'll do great! I hope you don't give up on your musical career plans, but can mesh them in with your WW job/career.
