I started packing today!! I can't find my good packing list, so I printed another one out from a DIS board...still not as good, though, IMHO.

Weather permitting, we're going to Blizzard or Typhoon on Saturday. Never been. Would Tevas work as well as water shoes for everyone?

DS1's cow costume came today, and DS2's french fries costume came yesterday. I'm almost finished with Ed's Austin Powers costume, and then all that's left is mine! Getting closer!

Ya know, I just don't know if I can handle this work thing. I mean, it's really biting into my planning time to find an afterschool babysitter.

Gotta go find some quarters and pennies for pressing. C-ya!

I am off to the Day Spa today to get my monthly wax and facial. Next is hair, nails and feet. I can't believe how close we are to cruising.

Just back from the high school football game....my Alma Mater was playing the high school my boys will be attending in a few years...well in alot of years...and my school got the s*^t beat out of them...how embarrassing!!..not to mention, here in Ohio we are having an early late autumn...it's COLD and RAINY...

we have a party tomorrow and I gotta teach CCD on sunday..school volunteering on monday, soccer game tuesday nite, soccer practice wed-- work mon & tues nights. How I'm ever gonna be ready to leave by 4am thusday..I don't know!!

I'm trying to get the house in order and pack...it's sheer craziness here!!

Okay, I have a very important question. This question needs serious thought and consideration before you answer it. Please do not answer it in haste. Kamy, being previous flight attendant, I think you might have the answer. Is everyone ready?

I have an "Incredible HUlk" mask that needs to get packed. The mask needs to make it to Florida and back to California in one piece. Without the mask, the Halloween costume just doesn't work! How is the best way to pack a 99 cent "Incredible Hulk" mask so it doesn't get destroyed, bent, or smashed during flight? Help me, please!

I suggest you stuff the mask, wrap it in bubble wrap, pack it in a box, tape it up well, and check it with your luggage.

Everyone is just interfering with my Disney planning. The schools are off on Monday, and I was planning on using that day for valuable packing time. But noooooo...not only will the kids be around all day no less, but I'm taking them to the dentist. That's at least two hours I could be getting ready. But it's a surprise, so now my day is wasted. I guess I always could clean or cook a dinner or something.

Connie, your week sounds like mine. Sunday: church & soccer; Monday: dentist, CCD, soccer, soccer; Tuesday: work on school projects that are due while we're gone to hand them in by Friday; Wed: CCD, soccer, soccer, lunch with a friend, drug screening for my new job; Thursday: final pack-down.

I read in an article that a secret to stress-free travel is to be totally packed and ready to go the day before your trip, so that you have time to do the errands that can only be done on the day you leave. Yeah, right! Fortunately our flight is at 8pm. Connie, I don't know how you'll do 4AM!!

Hi Everyone.
Got phone call from the very nice DCL people yesterday confirming upgrade to Cat 6, not bad starting with inside cabin and ending up with deluxe cabin and verandah.
Bought new camcarder this week for cruise, no idea how to use it.
Cold, rainy and down to freezing here tonight, can't wait for that Florida weather.
On our way to the theatre now (Whistle down the wind).
why am I always in a rush?
