ATT Cellphone service advice?

HI - the 4 of us have ATT cellphone service on 1 plan. We want to stay with ATT and 1 of us needs international service due to travelling on the job. We are all ready for upgrades, and want to get unlimited texting on at least 3/4 phones. Any suggestions???? Thanks!!!! Also, how much more does it cost to be able to get your email on your phone - Im so cell phone nonsaavy!!!!!

You can get a family texting plan with at&t for $30/month. Data plans depend on the type of phone. iPhone and Blackberry "smartphones" have unlimited data plans for $30/month, while a non-smartphone is less than $20/month for unlimited data.

As PP said, unlimited texting for the whole family is $30/mo. Recently they were running a special, and maybe it's still going on, to get unlimited data (so you could access email via the web) for $10/mo. per line you put it on. My DH and DD have that. I have the $30/mo. BlackBerry plan.

I also have AT&T Family Plan - but with just 3 lines. It is possible to add International Calling on just 1 of the lines (in fact I have it on my number only). Family unlimited texting is, as another poster said, $30 a month. I did have a data plan on 1 of the phones (a blackberry plan) for a while but I don't remember the exact cost. I do know for a fact that I had 3 different blackberry phones (2 curves and 1 pearl) both of the blackberry curve phones were junk and 1 only lasted a month........(I had an insurance plan that I paid extra for but the deductible was $250!!!!) My advice would be to upgrade only 1 phone at a time and see how the user likes it and how dependable it is. Sometimes the on-line upgrades are much more attractive than the upgrades that are available an a walk-in location. And always ask for any special promos. (PS - I am retired AT&T employee.)

i know that a plan cellphone can cost you an expensive ones, yes in plan cellphone the paying method is per month but how come if in whole month you cant get a signal and when you call in other country it can cost your a higher price, that's why you should use prepaid card if you are going to travel around the world and you know there are a lot of prepaid card company which sell their products with a really affordable price
