Atmosphere/entertainment at Marrakesh?

What kind of atmosphere or entertainment do they have at Marrakesh? I've heard a little about bellydancers. Do they have them all the time? Is it fun for a family? I have a hubby that likes to make fun with the kids when he's there ( kids will be 13, 9, and 8 yo next trip), and I'm thinking this may be a fun place for us. Info please!

It's a very relaxed, beautiful interior. Tables aren't smashed together, bright lighting, very open. Each side has raised areas for diners, then there are some tables on the floorlevel. In the front/center is the dancefloor and little stage for the band. Everyone can see, that way.

The belly dancer is there all through the day, I don't know the schedule - we saw her perform once when we went for lunch. She danced out through the tables, danced with a guy at a table, invited some honeymooners to come dance, and invited kids to come out and dance. The small band of instrumentalists was good, too.

We enjoyed it a lot! The food was good and plentiful, it's was cool and quiet and an escape from the chaos of the park. And it wasn't crowded, so we felt like we could relax!

We enjoy Marrakesh, the food is great and so is the atmosphere. The bellydancer comes out once an hour I believe. She dances and then brings up kids in the restaurant to teach how to dance.

We love Marrakesh. During our late May lunch visit, the belly dancer performed for maybe 15 minutes. Then, she had her picture taken with some little girls. That was it. We all enjoyed the performance but wish there had been more. There were some musicians who played throughout most of our meal. Our 13 yo ds has put Marrakesh at the top of his "must do" list for Oct. He really enjoyed the food here.

Marrekesh was delightful. We thought it was good value and good food. There is a belly dancer - I think they perform on a schedule so that every diner will see her. And there was a band that played Morroccan music through out our meal. When we were there a family was seated next to us and the boy was so embarrassed by the dancer he hid under his chair! Very funny! It was all in good fun.
