Morning Guys

We are looking for car hire for our trip in September need a mid size SUV (Ford Escape) best price we found was Atlas Choice at £265. Has anyone ever used them before as its about £40 cheaper than any other company we have searched?

Thanks David

They have come up for a few years on searches I do but never used them, always find cheaper.
Its probably a bit far out for best deals, car rental is often the last thing I buy 1-2 months before I fly (although this next trip I booked last year as I knew it was a bargain)
What dates & airport you looking at?

I used them for a South Africa trip and everything went smoothly.

Sorry in advance for sort-of-threadjacking!!!!!

This year we're on more of a budget so looking to squeeze the maximum out of every penny (whether it's a british penny or american penny!), do you reckon it's best to wait till just a couple of weeks before to get the best deal? Last two times we've booked wayyyyy in advance just because we wanted out the way and the price difference didn't matter to us as long as we were happy with the price, where this time i want the best bang for the proverbial buck.... :confused3

The best way really is to book the best you can now which will allow you to cancel at no fee. Then if you can find a better deal cancel and re-book but for the last couple of years almost every booking I have done has been 1-2 months from flying.

Sorry forgot to include dates we are flying out 14th sept to 28th sept with Aer Lingus (via Dublin - doing immigration their was so easy and killed the time between connecting flights!! Def worth paying the extra to fly with them)

We also liked the look of Atlas Choice as its only a £30 deposit and secures the rental at that price - the rest can be paid nearer the time and if necessary there is no cancellation fee!!! We just weren't sure if it was a 'too good too be true' type deal???

Thanks David
