Atlantis....

I'm trying to find a 'day' rate, but seem to be having problems... can someone help me out???

Also... I looked a the comfort Sutes site, and couldn't find anything for JUST that day....

I don't think Disney offers a 'tour' that includes the slide... that's what we want...

At the comfort hotel, you book a room for one night, they
don't have a day room. It was about $165 for us last year
but it varries on the time of year. You check in, get a card
that you turn in at the Atlantis towel shack and there you get
your wrist bands and towels. It lets you use all the slides, lazy
river, pool etc. It worked great for us last year. We never
used the room!

At Atlantis they do rent day rooms but usually only if they
are not full that day so you cannot book them ahead. You
are still going to pay more than the one night rate at the comfort
but if you want to room for a nap or something you might rather
have a room on site. The comfort hotel is just across the street.
You can call when you get to port and see if they have rooms.
At atlantis your room is good for 5 people , at the comfort hotel
it is only good for 4 people so the size of your party matters too.

We did the day rate at the Atlantis while on our Jan. 03 cruise. The rates during the high season were $200 for the Coral Tower and $250 for the Royal Tower. I understand it's $50 less in off season. I had to do this as I have a family of 5 so booking a room ahead of time at either the Atlantis or the Comfort Suites was not an option for me. I called from the Wonder from the phone in our cabin directly over to the Atlantis resort as soon as we docked in Nassau, it was about a $12 call. I booked the day room over the phone giving them a credit card number to hold the room. We ended up with the Royal Tower. The room was available to us at 9:30 am when we arrived and we had it until 6 pm. We carried a bag with us with out suits and stuff in it and changed in the room. In the late afternoon, my daugher went back and rested and enjoyed the quietness. We all showered at the Atlantis and changed back into our street clothes prior to returning to the ship.
