Atlantis Submarine Excursion in St. Thomas-Directly from ship or do we tender ashore?

I am taking the Atlantis Submarine excursion on my Jan 10 Magic cruise and am wondering if we go directly from the ship to the dive site or do we tender ashore first and then get on another boat to the dive site. When we did this two years ago, the Magic docked near Havensight Mall and we just got off the ship, walked a little ways and boarded a boat which carried us out to the dive site. From what I've heard, we are not docking in St. Thomas this time but are anchoring out and have to tender into shore. I guess I'm just hoping we don't have to tender and the boat to the submarine will take us directly from the ship.

Can anyone help me out with this?
