At the risk of sounding like a cold-hearted parent (which of course I am not - as I take my kids on DCL and to WDW regularly;) ), I want to ask if anyone has gone to Atlantis while their children were in the kid's club? We have been on DCL three times and this has never even occurred to us, however our next trip is a "girls" trip and my sister and I had thought about visiting Atlantis to do a little gambling for an hour or so - but what to do for my lovely 6-year old (who has already seen the Atlantis property, and LOVES the Oceaneer's club)?

Frankly, I'm not even sure that DCL would allow this or if the pagers would work properly. Maybe there is a "kid's club" at Atlantis that we could use. Anyone have any info. or suggestions on this subject? Thanks!

Go to the Atlantis website and check out the Discovery Channel Camp. http://www.atlantis.com

Go to Activities | Discovery Channel Camp

"Kids from 4 to 12 can become explorers for a day, find buried treasure, look at the stars through a high-powered telescope and get up close to a shark. or they can inspect the tiniest living creatures through a microscope, sculpt an imatation bone fossil and learn about sea animals on a really cool computer. It's all at the Discovery Channel Camp at Atlantis and it's for kids only!"

They have programs from 1 hr to deluxe programs but you need to reserve in advance. Sounds like the 1hr program will fit with your plans just fine.

Camp Hours
9am-5pm M, T
9am-10pm W-Sat
Closed Sunday

242.363.3000 x.46363

Hope it works out for you!
