Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction & Discover Atlantis - Observer?

Quick question - hoping someone can answer...

I am booking the Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction & Discover Atlantis excursion on Nassau for my May Dream sailing. Can another member of our party travel to Atlantis with us and observe the interaction, without paying for the full excursion? The very limited description mentions that observers have to remain on the beach and cannot enter the water - but they make no mention of an "observer package" or any further information regarding it.

Has anyone here done this excursion, and give some advice? Thanks!!
