Atlantis Day Plan?

We will do the Atlantis Aquaventure excursion through Disney. We will be in Nassau from 7:45am until 5:15pm. I haven't yet booked the excursion since I am not in that time frame yet but what time do you think we would make it to Atlantis and what time do you think we would head back to the ship?

Any suggestions for a touring plan? I'm thinking rides in the morning, lunch, river rapids and the pools in the afternoon? We will be going on a Tuesday in June.

You're over planning this. This slides are connected into the River. Just go with the flow and have a great time. Also, please look at the pricing of a room at both Atlantis and Comfort Suites. It is most likely is cheaper to book a room (that you may never see) then the Disney excursion.

What time you make it to Atlantis depends on what time the ship gets there and whether you're doing the full day or half. They schedule a time for you to meet for the excursion. We didn't do the AquaAdventure, we did the beach day but we were there by 9:30am. They offer a couple different times you can return to the ship. We opted to go back early and were back on board before 2pm.

I agree you should completely play it by ear. Your family may not even like the slides so let them decide once they get there what they are going to do. Just plan a short break after eating.

I also agree you should look into the Comfort Suites. If we do Atlantis again, that's what we will do. You have access to the AquaAdventure and a room to relax and change in.

Yes, agree you are over thinking this. Just get there and decide which slides or pools you want to go in. Everything is sort of connected and an official touring plan is not necessary in my opinion. Have fun!

If we do the comfort suites route, would we have to get a taxi to the comfort suites, check in, and then walk to Atlantis? I'm liking that Disney provides transportation to and from and generally makes us feel like we won't get lost etc.
