Atkins - Post your menus for today!

Okay... I saw a thread that said "I'm so bored with eating the same things everyday on Atkins"... and thought... hey let's start a daily menu thread... so folks can get ideas on how to eat ABUNDANTLY while staying on plan. So... post your menus and share with everyone!

Yesterday's Menu:

B - 2 fried eggs, 1 slice of bacon, 1 slice of toasted Atkins bread w/ 1/2 TBS of butter, 1/2 cup of mixed berries (sliced strawberries and blue berries) and a LARGE mug of black coffee

L - 1 O'soLo low carb cinnamon/raisin roll with 2 TBS of almond butter and 1/2 cup of cold ketomilk

S - 1/2 cup of plain whole milk yogurt with some SF Davinci syrup to sweeten it

D - 6 ounces of roast beef, 1/2 of a medium zuchinni in slices - roasted with garlic and olive oil

S - 1/3 cup of plain yogurt cheese mixed with some SF Davinci syrup

Net carbs of 31 and calories were just at 1,500.


Today's Menu:

B - 3 eggs scrambled with diced onions and peppers, 1 TBS of ketoketchup and a LARGE mug of coffee

L - 3 ounces of roast beef (leftovers) and 1 cup of steamed brocolli

S - 1/2 cup of plain whole milk yogurt with 1 pkt of splenda to sweeten

D - 4 ounce hamburger patty with large slices of fresh garden tomatoes and 1/2 TBS of mayo

S - 1/3 cup of yogurt cheese mixed with some SF Davinci syrup

Net carbs of 30 and calories are 1,150.

Good idea! Here's my menu for today!

Breakfast: Mock Danish (I tried this for the first time yesterday, and it was so good!!!)

Lunch: Leftover pork ribs from last night, 2 slices of cheddar cheese, pickle

Dinner: Parmesan Chicken, Creamed Beans (green beans heated with melted cream cheese), small salad

Snacks: beef sticks, cheddar cheese spread with peanut butter, one piece of sugar free chocolate
 
Great idea!!!

I'm still on induction as I'm only on day 7 of Atkins :rolleyes: so I don't get anything fun like cream cheese and mock danishes yet! :mad:

Anyway...

Breakfast: 3 egg omelette with a slice of ham in it and some cheddar cheese and a cup of decaf w/1 packet of Splenda.

Lunch: Another attempt at making buffalo wings, I cooked some wings in olive oil and ate about 9 halves (not the drums, the other 1/2 :rolleyes: ) I had about a tablespoon or slightly more of blue cheese dressing to dip them in and used Hooters hot wing sauce. It's about all I could eat as I seem to be full very quickly.

Dinner will be: OUTBACK! Fiance is bringing home outback and I'm ordering the 2 lobster tail meal with steamed veggies and it comes with a salad as well. I don't know what the lowdown is on their dressing, so I'll put my own 1g. italian on it.
(is it a HUGE crime if that one carb. gram is a sugar gram?:confused: )
we'll probably share an order of shrimp on the barbie too, and I wish I knew what that sauce that comes on the side is, cuz it's so darn good! :eek:

Breakfast at 11 an Atkins cinnamon bun breakfast bar with a cup of coffee. I'm up at 6 but I'm not hungry.

Lunch... at 2:30 Tofu and egg salad over spinich

Dinner...at 6:30 Salmon with bernaisse sauce (a huge piece) with a small salad and a few green beans drizzled with olive oil

And chocolate homemade ice cream for dessert....about a cup and a half. I make it with whipping cream and heavy cream.

Nothing too exciting, but I'm satisfied. I watch everyone eating homemade bread that does smell good but then I run to the mirror and can go without!

Is your ice cream recipe on the low carb recipe thread? If not could you share it? I am having severe ice cream withdrawals! Love to hear how you do it. Thanks!
