Atkins / Low Carb stall ?

Anyone following low-carb WOE?

I did this way back in 2001 - and stalled for awhile....but nothing like this time. Ive been the same weight since March! MARCH! And it's AUGUST!!! :sad2:

Although clothes are getting smaller - nothing like I had the first time around....

Anyone else hit a plateu for soooo stinking long?
 
I'm sorry that the stall is lasting so long...

At least you are seeing size results. That is good.

Try taking what you are eating and change things up just a bit, by maybe splitting the portions in 2 and having them in the form of closer to 6 meals rather than the usual 3. You body needs a bit of a shake it up and this may help some.
 
Are you measuring your carbs or eyeballing them? Are you on Atkins? If so, what rung are you? I tend to get cocky and think my fistful of jicama or broccoli is a cup, but then I actually measure it out and it's more. Carbs add up quickly if they're not being measured.

Foods that cause me to stall are cheese, cream, nuts, and most low carb products (bars, shakes etc). Try cutting out some different foods.

Are you exercising? Part of a healthy low carb lifestyle is exercise. When I get lazy and don't work out my weight stops coming off!

These are just some things that come to mind. Either way, it's good your clothes are getting looser.. your body IS changing :cheer2:
