I personally think your stall was caused by overeating on the carbs. There is a big difference between a bar with 14 carbs as opposed to 2 net carbs. I don't know how you could include a bar into your daily menu and still remain under 20 carbs. That would only leave you with 6 carbs for your remaining meals & snacks! Dr. Atkins states that during your induction, the majority of your carbs should be from veggies. Focus more on eating healthy carbs as opposed to those carbs from sugar alcohols.....at least for 2 weeks. Then you can maybe include a bar once or twice a week if you really love them and can't do without them.
I too am an extremely slow loser and have been at a stall for the past 2 months playing around with the same 2-3 pounds (up and down and up and down). On Monday of this week, I've gone back to just eggs, meat, and veggies, very limited cheese, & yogurt; and my weight has finally begun dropping again!! (YEAH!!). Next week I'll go back to adding one thing at a time (first will be peanut butter, then the next week I will try additonal cheese, but I have a feeling this may be an additional "staller" for me).
