I'm still in a meat coma!

If you are a serious carnivore, you'll be in heaven.

I was very pleased with the way they handled my food allergies. The salad bar was terrific. The service was great--they probably have the highest ratio of waitstaff to patrons in the entire area. The food was very fresh and generally perfectly seasoned, the hot food was hot, the cold food was cold.

I don't think it's particularly kid friendly, and personally wouldn't take a child under ten there. The atmosphere is definitely loud, but a good amount of your meal is the salad bar which would be hard to manage with younger kids.

We only have two minor criticisms. We didn't care for the rubbery rolls they served to the table in a basket, although found terrific bread on the salad bar. The othe was that they never came by with two of the types of meat they were offering that night. Not a big deal, we certainly didn't leave empty, but it seemed like the same three or four guys kept coming by with the same three or four types of meats. Obviously neither was a deal breaker.

We'll go again at some point. IMHO it's overpriced unless you've got a coupon for a BOGO or free entree or something along those lines.

Yes the food and service is great....and once agin unless you sign up and get a coupon....well,,,,,lets just say i can make a pig out of my self elsewhere cheaper

Glad you enjoyed it. Still recovering from protein overload from dining there Thursday night. Had a good time We dined at AP last week for our Anniversary last Thursday(Good food. Subpar service) Returned home and there was an E-mail from the steakhouse for a "free" Anniversary meal. from TdB. Nothing like stretching out the Anniversary a bit. ;-)

Felt the same way about the bread. Is there gummy cheese in the "donut holes" or is it uncooked dough?

How much is it? Is there much difference in price and food choices between lunch and dinner?

For dinner the price was about $50 per person, not including tax, tip, drinks, and dessert. That covered all you cared to eat from the saad bar and meat.

There is a lower price for lunch (I think about $30+), but they are only open for lunch on Fridays now IIR.

I just went to the one they opened up here in Richmond last night! I had a complimentary birthday coupon. It was really good We were inundated with about 7 different types of meat though. They also had a lobster bisque that was to die for. The one here wasn't loud at all. Interesting how the same restaurant can differ from location to location.

This is an old brazilian recipe of "Pão de Queijo" - "Cheese Bread" that is prepared with a kind of cheese (Minas cheese, only found in Brazil) that is very soft and a little similar to Feta cheese.
If uncooked, it will get gummy, as you pointed out.

I love that place. We go about once a month. It is very loud in there, but is very festive at the same time. When I was pregnant, it was my favorite place to go.
I actually already have my reservations and am going again on Thanksgiving.

Is this place similiar to a Fogo de Chao? I've been to those restaurants and loved them. Has anyone been to both restaurants and can give me a comparison?
