At what point should you go to the hospital? (gallbladder related)

My husband kept putting it off and ended up very sick. He spent 3 weeks in the hospital. Most of that time was in a medically induced coma because every major organ, except his heart had started to shut down at some point. He ended up with pancreatitis. The doctors did not know if he would live. Once he was strong enough to remove the gallbladder he felt much better. 4 years later he still has problems related to his illness that he may not have had if he would have gone to the doctor sooner. So, go to the hospital.

10 years and 4 months is a long time to wait to find out if Phorsenuf had surgery or not. Don't leave us hanging here, Phors!

Holy Moly! You all scared me -- Phorsenuf is currently with her grandson (and his parents!) awaiting the arrival of his new brother. I was afraid she was having health issues while there! I can't remember if she had gb surgery but she has survived several other healthy issues, is doing great and enjoying her grandbabies.

Quite surprised the depth this came from. Amazing how far back things can be dug up!
